Chapter 88
Eam had alreadh his way with hole? Lettows?
Were those words that one would heat from any decent hamam bring?
There was no way tube was going to let Zachary get dragged into this. She stepped forward and polled Zayn away
“That’s enough, Zam Peston,” she bellowed.
It was as if Zavn did not hear her, as he punched Zachary another few times.
Zachary, who had been fighting back before, suddenly stopped moving. He allowed himself to be beaten up by Zayn, and soon his face was covered in bruises. He was even bleeding trom the comet of his mouth.
Seeing this, Julie stopped caring about the consequences and raised her hand to slap Zayn across the face.
As Zam roze in shock, she shoved ham away from Zachary
Zav stumbled, his back hitting the corner of a table. He grimaced in pain.
“Julie!” he yelled in a low voice, looking disbelievingly at her. “You hit me because of him.”
Julie took a deep breath before eyeing the man before her coldly
“You instigated it,” she said indifferently.
She then proceeded to ignore him and helped Zachary up from the floor
“Are you alright?” she asked in concem.
Zachary shook his head slightly. He tried to open his mouth to speak but ended up aggravating the wound at the corner of his mouth. He subconsciously sucked in a pained breath. Seeing this, Julie fretted, “Are you okay? How about I send you to the hospital first?”
Zayn, who had been completely ignored thus far, instantly exploded with rage.
“Are you fucking blind, Julie?” he roared, heedless of the consequences. “He’s faking i
Julie did not seem to hear him. She simply supported Zachary as they made their way outside.
Seeing this, Zayn immediately started panicking He stumbled toward them, ignoring his own wounded back, and stood in Julie’s way.
He looked a little aggrieved as he stated, “I’m also injured.”
In the past, Julie’s biggest fear was him getting injured. She would cry in distress over even the smallest wounds that he sustained.
Recalling this fact, Zayn stared fixedlyat her face. He wanted to see Julie feel sorry for him as she had before.
However, his expectations were crushed.
Julie simply glanced impassively at him before looking away. She handed off her bag to Amaya so that she could drive Zachary to the hospital.
A hint of panic flashed across Zayn’s face as he watched her. He reached out and caught her wrist in a death grip, repeating what he had said earlier word by word.
“I’m injured. My face is bleeding.”
Julie retracted her hand. “Can you stop being so childish, Zayn?”
As she spoke, she stepped past him and headed toward the entrance of the VIP room. But just as she reached the entrance, Zayn walked over and stood in the doorframe, unwilling to let the issue go
“Why don’t you care about me anymore, Julie?” he asked stubbornly
He looked directly at her as he spoke, looking aggrieved.
Julie sighed in exasperation. Zayn’s personality really was as volatile as ever. He was wilful and only cared about his own convenience while being completely unconcerned about the wellbeing of others.
Jolie mustered her patience and asked him in return, “And why should I care about you? Weren’t you the one who personally put an end to our relationship?
Zayn’s expression crumbled bit by bit as he listened to her words, his originally aggrieved expression turning ugly
He chuckled quietly, then sneered at her. “Haven’t you just been treating me as a substitute for the past three years, Julie? Isn’t my breaking up with you exactly what you want?” He looked at Zachary and added mockingly, “Do you think she’s going to fall for you? You’re still as stupid as ever.”
