Julie sighed deeply
“Is that your new boyfriend? Megan’s voice came from the door.
alle turned around and frowned upon realizing Megan was still there. “Why are you still here?”
Megan ignored the question and pressed, “So, have you found a new boyfriend?”
Julie didn’t want to waste time arguing and decided to go along with her. “Yes, he’s my new boyfriend.”
But as soon as the words left her mouth, a deep male voice Interrupted. “Who’s your new boyfriend?”
Julie looked up and was surprised to see Lucian standing at the door of her dorm. “W–Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be at the hospital?”
Lucian smirked. “You’re moving, so I have to come. All done packing?”
Julie nodded. “Yeah. I’ve finished”
“Let’s go then.” With that, be reached out to grab her bag and turned to leave
Megan stood frozen in place. She recognized the man from a dinner party at the Peyton Residence, but why was he here? And judging by their interaction, he seemed Julie.

Envy flared in Megan’s chest. Why did Julie always get the better end of the deal, while she catiously sucked up to Zayn, only to get dumped?
She refused to give up
Faking a sweet voice, she eyed Lucian and said, “What a coincidence to see you here, Luce!”
Lucian glanced at her and frowned. “Who are you?”
Megan forced a coy smile. “I’m Megan We met at the dinner party at Peyton Residence, remember?”
Lucian’s expression instantly cooled. He glanced sideways at Julie, who was watching with a half–amused expression.
“Juju, are you coming or not? His tone was impatient
Julie chuckled softly. “Coming. Of course I’m coming.”
“If we don’t leave now, I might throw up from disgust,” be commented before turning to head toward the stairs, not bothering to give Megan another look.
Megan’s face paled. She hadn’t expected Lucian not to only ignore her advances but also to insult her in front of julie.
She glared venomously at Julie, who shrugged and was completely unbothered “just a heads–up: don’t bother trying to go after him.”
Megan froze briefly before a smug smile spread across her face. “What are you scared of? Are you afraid that Luce might fall for me? But you’ve got a boyfriend, haven’t you?”
The sweetness in her lone was so exaggerated that even julle felt nauseated, let alone Lucian. She waved and spat, “Go ahead Try it
With that, she walked past Megan and lett. She didn’t bother wasting time persuading Megan. If the latter insisted on messing with Zayn and bringing trouble upon herself, she deserved it
Downstairs, she spotted Lucian’s car parked outside the dormitory building. She looked out and asked in surprise, “Where are Blaine’s brothers?”
“They left after moving everything. They drove back themselves, Lucian replied.
“And my suitcase?”
In the car. Get in. I’m going to buy some cigarettes,” he replied as he headed toward a convenience store near the building
Julie opened the front passenger door and was immediately greeted with a smile from Blaine. “Hi, Juju. I’m your driver today.”
Julle wasn’t sure how to react, but Blaine continued, “Don’t sit in the front seat, though. If you do, Luce will start nagging me again.”
Julie wasn’t sure what Lucian would nag about, but she decided against sitting in the front seat and listening to Blaine camble.
The man could talk a person’s ear off if left unchecked.
Opening the back door, Julie slid into the rear seat and rolled down the window for fresh air. That was when she saw Megan walking toward the convenience store and was intent on approaching Lucian
Megan really had no fear, did she?
