Chapter 47
Saren lazily called to Tara “What’s the nish?”
She was already used to him mocking her all the time. It was as if he would feel uncomfortable if he didn’t do it.
“I won’t disturb you further, Mr. Farrell. You should wash up first before enjoying your breakfast.” After saying that, she tried to leave again. However, it seemed as if Soren was more interested in her than in the food
soren casually asked, “Are you really not thinking about seducing me again? Who Imows? You might be successful this time.”
To Tara, Soren was different from Lance. She would never treat Soren’s words seriously because he had always liked to tease others
So, she said seriously, “Don’t worry, Mr. Farrell, I won’t do anything out of line anymore.
Hearing that, Soren clicked his tongue. “You sure are slow.” He had already given her obvious hints, and she still thought he was testing her. He didn’t know what to do with her anymore.
Tara couldn’t clearly make out what he was saying. She left the room with her cart. When she passed Lance’s room, she Instinctively quickened her pace like there was a monster in there.
Soon, it was attemoon. Tara was resting in the lounge at around 4:00 pm, and stella was sitting on the couch opposite her. Other than talding care of the guys‘ daily meals, there was almost nothing else for Stella and Tata to do.
That was why they were fighting to go on a vacation with the guys. They also didn’t have to worry about their safety,
As Tara munched on some cherries and watched television, she felt great. She was no longer as anxious as she had been the day before.
On the other hand, stella clearly wasn’t in a great mood. Lance found out that she had abandoned Tara on purpose, but he and Gemma still hadn’t done anything about it. So, she didn’t know if they were going to fire her.
Stella thought Tara was the reason for all of her frustrations. If Tara had been fired the moment she was chased out of Jonah’s room, none of these things would’ve happened.
As for Tare, who was being hated for no reason, she would either focus on the cherries or the show she was watching. She didn’t notice there was someone else opposite her at all.
Stella was upset as Tara completely ignored her hateful gaze. Ever since Tara was kicked out of Jonah’s room, it felt as if she had become another person. She stopped caring about the guys and never took any initiative to be with them again. She even became harder to deal with.
There was only the sound of the television in the lounge. So, when Terence made an announcement on the speakers, Tara was stunned for a split second. Then, she paid attention to what he was saying.
Mr. Swain and the others are having their dimer in the dining room tonight. Please get ready.”
Hearing the annuncement, Tara remembered what Lance had said to her in his room the previous night. She was glad that he was only testing her. Otherwise, it would feel awkward when they met later.
Tara, Mr. Galdey has said in the group that Mr. Swain and the others don’t like it when other housekeepers get too close to them. So, we need to allocate our tasks properly.”
Tara waited for Stells to continue talking, thinking that the latter hadn’t gotten to the point yet
As Tara had expected, Stella continued saying in an empathic tone, “So, let’s continue what we’ve done in the past couple of days. I’ll continue taking care of Mr. Swain and Mr. Pearson while you’ll be in charge of Mr. Farrell and Mr. Wilhelm,”
Tara didn’t show any emotion, as usual. She agreed to the plan
Seving how indifferent Tara looked, Stella thought she was suppressing her anger and didn’t dare to show it. So Stella figured that Tara cared more than it seemed and had just learned how to hide it better.
