Chapter 15
Following the instructions given, the young woman pushed open the private room door and cautiously greeted Jasper, “Hello, sir? Were you the one who called for me?”
Upon hearing the voice, Jasper looked up. For a moment, he thought he saw Holly from the
past.
Back then, she had looked just as youthful as the young woman in front of him.
Had he gone back in time? Did he now have a chance to start over with her?
This time, he swore he wouldn’t do anything to hurt her again.
Jasper’s eyes instantly welled up with tears. He suddenly stepped forward and hugged the young woman tightly,
He exclaimed, “Holly, you’re back! You’ve finally returned to me! I’ve been looking for you for so long! But you were nowhere to be found. Let’s remarry right now… I’ll never let you suffer again…”
Warm tears fell as the woman in his arms trembled in fear. “Sir…”
The moment she spoke, Jasper immediately snapped out of it.
This wasn’t Holly!
He shoved the woman away and looked at her with disgust. Then, he grabbed her by the hair and pressed her face into the couch.
Yet another woman who was trying to cling to him. Holly had hated women like this the most! Jasper was furious. It was because of women like ber–because of Nadine–that Holly had been forced to leave. And now, a vixen like her dared to approach him again?
His mind was clouded with rage. He wished he could strangle this woman right now to show. Holly how sincere he truly was.
He pressed down harder and harder. The young woman struggled desperately. Muffled cries escaped her throat as she nearly suffocated while being pressed into the couch.
But Jasper didn’t let go. His eyes were bloodshot as he stared hatefully at the figure who looked so much like Holly.
“Jasper! Stop! You’re going to kill her!”
His friends outside realized something was wrong and rushed in to stop Jasper’s crazed behavior. Still, he didn’t stop. Instead, he glared at everyone in the room and went berserk Not bothered to distinguish friend from foe, he shouted wildly, “It’s because of all of you!
Otherwise, Holly wouldn’t have left me!”
“Because of you! Because of Nadine! Because of every single one of you! If it weren’t for you, how could I have done so many things to hurt her? You’re all the ones who drove Holly away!” Jasper roared, grabbing a wine bottle and smashing it.
He needed to vent. Why did Holly have to leave him? It was all because of these people!
He threw and smashed everything in sight. The private room was a chaotic mess. No one could stop him, and several even got injured in the process. The woman who resembled Holly managed to escape during the chaos, but the others weren’t so lucky.
In the middle of the mayhem, Jasper suddenly blacked out and collapsed to the floor. His body shut down as he hadn’t really rested for a few days.
When he woke up again, he saw a white ceiling above him and smelled the strong scent of disinfectant. He had drunk far too much, so he was still groggy. His head was pounding, and his stomach was burning with pain.
He turned his head and saw his parents and his grandfather, Randall Price, by his bedside.
“W–Where’s Holly? Has she… come back yet?” Jasper asked right away. The only thing they cared about was Holly’s whereabouts.
Randall struck his cane against the floor in fury and disappointment. “How could you end up in this state over a woman? Are you out of your mind? Do you even know what the public thinks of Price Group now?”
Jasper froze. He had no idea.
Reading the room, Tom handed Jasper a phone right after Randall’s outburst.
“Has Jasper gone insane? He’s actually involved with his own niece?”
“So, this is how the elite of Danvir act? I don’t see what’s so great about the Price family anymore.”
“He used to ignore his own wife. Now that she’s left, he’s pretending to be all loving and devoted. How disgusting!”
“He even faked bankruptcy to force her into a divorce. She stayed loyal through it all, and he didn’t cherish her. A good woman like her is wasted on a scumbag like him!‘”
Jasper’s face turned pale. How had public opinion taken such a turn?
His fingers trembled as he scrolled down, reading one comment after another. Once th scandal about his inappropriate relationship with Nadine broke out, countless business partners cut ties with Price Group, and shareholders began withdrawing en masse.
In an instant, Price Group was on the verge of collapse, and its stock price plummeted to rock

To mitigate the damage, the Price family announced that all of Jasper’s responsibilities within the company would be temporarily suspended.
Everyone in the inner circle was gossiping about how badly Jasper had messed up this time.
