Chapter 81
Aiden doubted that someone like Moses possibly begged someone else to take over his empire.
Yet, Kyle remained utterly composed, his demeanor unshaken. Alden hesitated. For someone so young to have such calm assurance–and given Moses‘ often enigmatic thoughts–perhaps this man truly possessed extraordinary qualities that Alden had yet to discover.
“Mr. Archer, I won’t trouble you further. I just have one last question, can you tell me where Moses has gone?”
Aiden, deeply loyal to Moses, couldn’t help but worry about his safety.
Kyle shook his head. “I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you that. What I can say is that Moses is safe. As for whether he’ll return… Well, you know his temperament. Unless be chooses to come back, no one can make han.”
Hearing this, Aiden felt at a loss for words.
To him, Moses was an emperor, a god–a figure who looked down on all others with absolute authority.
“Yet, in Kyle’s words, Moses sounded like an ordinary, stubbon old man with a bad temper.
Alden opened his mouth to ask something else, but Kyle smiled knowingly and said, “Don’t waste your energy. If a few questions were reveal Moses‘ whereabouts, wouldn’t that incan he made a mistake in choosing me?
te all it took to get me to
“And if I tell you where he is, what happens when someone else asks me the same thing? Should I tell them, too?”
Alden nodded reluctantly. “You’re right. I apologize, Mr. Archer. That was presumptuous of ine. Moses chose you, and we will trust you unconditionally. “The path of taking control of Heavens Group and holding sway over the Khan family’s fate will be incredibly difficult. But rest assured, we old hands will do everything we can to support you. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask
“However, if I may ask, when do you plan to…”
kyle knew what he was going to ask
He cut him off with a shake of his head. “Not yet. I still don’t fully understand the situation, and there are other things I need to handle first. I can’t go for now. Besides, there won’t be any immediate problems over there in the short term.
“And even when I do go, I won’t stay permanently Cleaning up the Khan tamilly’s mess? That’s for the Khans themselves. I’ll stay behind the scenes. I promised Moses the Klan family wouldn’t fall, and I intend to keep that promise”
Aiden began to understand Kyle’s approach
He was just like Moses.
No wonder Moses entrusted everything to him
At this point, Alden knew he couldn’t sway Kyle’s decisions, but he trusted him. Kyle had the ability to handle whatever lay ahead.
Mr. Archer, since you used the top–tier Heavens Card this time, the news has already leaked. It won’t just be people like me coming to see you those within the Khan family who oppose you will come to stir up trouble roo. I’d like to stay and help you manage them…”
Kyle shook his head firmly. “You don’t strike me as someone with time to waste. I can handle things myself, do back. If something serious comes up, I’ll call you— but I doubt I’ll need to. Don’t worry.”
He added with a wry simile, “Relax. I do things based on my mood. If things escalate and someone ends up dead, I hope Mr. Barton Senior won’t hold it against me. Aiden didn’t doubt Moses judgment for a second.
Kyle’s demeanor, his words, and las confidence all pointed to a man who was no ordinary figure,
Aiden now fully believed Moses had chosen someone not only with exceptional talent but also someone with methods that could leave others in awe.
“Mi Archer,” Aiden said sincerely, “I won’t interfere with your plans. But if possible, I ask that you show some mercy–for Moses‘ sake. After all, they are his blood relatives.
Kyle smiled at the sendinent.
*Modes‘ blood relatives? Heh. They’ve never cared about Moses. The only reason they’re so desperate to find him now is because of power. If Moses were just an ordinary old man, would they be in such a rush?”
Kyle leaned back slightly and gestured toward the door. “Please leave. No one teaches me how to do my job.“‘
Bealizing the conversation was over, Aiden nodded. He traced into his pocket and placed two business cards un the table.
“Our is indue. The other belongs to the parsident of Thalarea Heavens up. He’s my trusted alde–someone you can rely on. If It’s inconvenient to contact me directly, reaccout to lam. He’ll help you deal with any unnecessary trouble,”
