Angel had a fright when Jeshua suddenly polled her into his arms, she let out a soft grant, but Joshua didn’t seem to have heard her. He just kept apologizing ther and telling het how much he regretted his actions.
Hatred surged in Angel’s eyes when she heard joshua repeating Melody’s name over and over again.
Why was he still so deeply in lor with her? Melody had already been dead for much a long time
Couldn’t Joshua just open his eyes and look at her? She was still withthim, and she was also still bearing his child..
However, Angel suppressed the hate luber eyes when she thought about her child. She spoke pratly, “Joshua, It’s me. Angel.”
Angel’s words telt like a tight slap to Joshua’s face, waking him up immediately from lits daze. He lammediately let go of her. His eyes used to be glazed over, but now, they were bright and crystal clear. Then, his eyes gradually tiled with disgust and hatred.

Angel kept crying and shaking her head in fear she could only hope that Joshua would forgive her this once.
However, she forgot that Josh was a hugely successful businessman and hated it when people threatened or tried to blackmail him. Moreover, this perso the main culprit who had caused the death of his one true love.

Angel immediately stopped crying Her eyes also gained their shimmer.
She knew that Joshua loved her too much to are hercrying like this.
However, before the could ever smile at that thought, Joshua’s demon–like voice sounded again
“I’ll send you straight to hell to apologize to her!”
Angel’s face paled immediately. She kept crying and begging for merry. She begged him not to be so harsh on her, but joshua refused to budge.
Finally, Angel let go of Jeshua’s pants leg and hung herhead. She suddenly started to laugh.
“Josh Grenchen, did you really think that I was the one who killed Melady?”
She raised her head to look at him, her eyes full of scorn and mockery.
“You were the one who first Justed over my body and threw me into bed. You were the one who spalled me rotten, buying me all sorts of luxury items and introducing me to your friends and family. You were the one who told them you loved me and could give me anything except the title of your wife!
“You were the one who abandoned her each time to look for me! You were the one who allowed me to be pregnant with your child!
“only dared to provoke her because you allowed me to do whatever I wanted! But now that she’s finally dead, you’re still trying to pinall the blame on me?”
Joshuastared at Angel with a dark expression. He looked at her like she was nothing but a joke.
Just as he was about to speak again, the door was pushed openance more.
Jessica rushed into the room and pushed Joshua away. Then, she hurriedly picked Angel up from the ground before slapping Joshua harshly in the face.
“Are you crazy, Joshua Gretchen? Angel is sill pregnant! What are you going to do if she loses the baby?”
Joshua was slapped so hard that his had snapped to the side. It took him a while to finally turn back and stare at Jessica
“The baby? Inever planned to keep it,” he said with a scot
Jessica was so mad that she didn’t know what to say. Suddenly, a thought struck her. He imediately tomed around and barked at the maids, “Take her to the hospital for ackup!”
Joshua stopped them before Angel could be taken away. He wasn’t door with Angel yet. He couldn’t simply let her go like this.
Jessica stopped him just intime, halting him as he was about to grab Angel’s land.

“What are you all waiting for? Take her away!”
The maids hurriedly left with Angel after hearing Jessica’s orders again.
Mom! What are you doing? She killed Melody! How could you just let her go?“
Jessica slapped him on the cheek again.
“What do you mean she killed Melody? Melody died on her own Her death had nothing to do with Angell
“Also, Angel is pregnant with my grandchild! What will you do if anything happens to the baby? Also, since Melody is now dead, you should start planning for your marriage with Angel. She won’t be able to fit into any wedding dresses if her stomach becomes any bigger!”
Jessica was about to say something more, but Joshua stopped her.
“That’s enough, Mom! Don’t you butt in
in on my business with Angel.”
With that, Joshua tumed and left without loolding at Jessica again. However, his assistant, Jack Lavigne, came rushing toward him in a great hurry.
“Mr. Gretchen! The company is in trouble!”
As soon as news of Melody’s death spread, many of her fans were devastated. Everybody refused to believe that she’d really died from a sudden bout of depression. So, they started investigating the true reason behind Melody’s death. Finally, they’d managed to discover something amiss.
The clue had been hidden in plain sight–in the recording of the live stream Angel did while she was celebrating her pregnancy. Angel’s fans had been the ones who’d unknowingly produced the evidence against her.
The fans‘ suspicions were proven when they heard the audio of Angel making love with Joshua on–air. Although there was no video to prove it, anyone could tell that the voice belonged to Joshua Gretchen!
At once, the entire intemet blew up in a frenzy.
After that, even more fans found proof of Joshua cheating on Mellody on multiple occasions. And it was exactly when he started cheating on her that Melody got diagnosed with depression.
In other words, Melody hadn’t simply fallen into depression for nothing. It was because she’d found out about Joshua cheating on her that she developed suicidal thoughts and finally took her own life.
Soon after, someone anonymously posted Angel’s pregnancy test report and all the lewd photos and videos of Angel and Joshua making love and rolling in the sheets with each other.
They even posted screenshots of Angel’s provolding messages to Melody before the time of her death.
Within minutes, Joshua’s and his company’s official social media accounts were flooded with angry fans scolding him and demanding an explanation. They just couldn’t imagine how much pain and despair Melody had been through that she would ultimately choose to end her life by jumping into the sea
