Next Day,
Jasmine opens the door when the doorbell rings. She is beaming with excitement and obviously, has been waiting for Spencer to return.
However, the moment she opens the door, a familiar face looks at her coldly.
“Wh–What are you doing here?” She asks, trying to close the door.
“I heard everything last night. I think I can help you more than your father in–law can!” The grin on those lips sends shivers to her skin.
With a full hesitation, she just opens the door, looking around if there’s anyone watching.
“Come in!”
Meanwhile,
Benedetta opens her eyes with the gentle sound of ocean waves. Feeling a bit of exhaustion, she turns right. But her eyebrows raise and a soft smile appears on her lips. Her twins are sleeping next to her. Must have snuck into her room last night.
Pulling the blanket up, she covers them properly.
She has a meeting with Alpha Benefort. It’s her first project as the CEO. She doesn’t want to fail it.
“What’s the schedule today?” She whispers, looking at her notepad.
She has been managing her own schedules. To keep the perfect flow of her business and personal life, she has been doing more than a person does. She must do everything properly without making any trouble or mistakes.
“Oh! I forgot about it” Circling around the lines she frowns. “I wonder how long the meeting will go. I need to go to the spa with my babies. They love spa!” She grins playfully.
The kids have started joining her since they were two. At least once in six months, they’ll join her.
Here, they have a kid section as well. So she can’t miss such a good time to spend with her kids.
“Let’s see what more I can do. SkyDiving? It’s been a while. Shall I do it today? It’s a long day anyway. Oh! I have to take the kids to swim. They will love to play there!”
She mumbles while trying to imagine themselves in the pool or skydiving.
“Mama?” Bryan taps her shoulder and tilts his head.
His adorable little face is wearing a mask of confusion. After all, her mother is just laughing on her own, imagining things.
“Is Mommy alright?” Scarlet, rubbing her eyes, looks at Bryan with the same expression.
I don’t know. She is getting older! We can’t do anything about ” Bryan shrugs as he slides down the bed.
That’s true. She has gray hair too!” Scarlet joins him.
“Oh! Really?”
Yes. I saw that too. I wonder if she will never get married again What if her teeth fall and she becomes ugly?” Bryan said.

Bryan and Scarlet look at each other, terror in their eyes. Bryan’s hand reaches to his sister’s who is standing frozen while turning pale.
“We are done!” Scarlet whispers, unable to turn back.
Bryan nods constantly, trying to tiptoe and leave with his sister.
“What happened? Tell me more! What more do you think of me?” Benedetta asks with dark chuckles.

I think my kids are old enough to take care of me. When I will cry at night because of nightmares, I will go to my kids who are old enough to understand that I will become ugly, my teeth will fall or –!” She gets closer to them, “My hair will be white as snow, looking at a snow witch!”
“AHHH!! MAMA!” Both of them jump and scream.
“I am here, baby. Tell me more!”
The kids slowly turn to their mother who is wearing the creepiest smile on her face.
They hiccup before hanging their head. Bryan is literally making his sister shield to avoid their mother.
“You two little. You are too fluent in talking rubbish but when it comes to study, you can’t even speak properly!”
She pinches their cheeks gently.
Ow! Sowwy, Mama!” Bryan pouts.
Sorry, Mommy!” Scarlet looks sincere.
“Well! Whatever. I was thinking about going to the spa, swimming in the pool and having lots of fun today. But I am too old and ugly to walk around. Let’s skip –!”
“NO!!! WE ARE SORRY, MOMMY!”
Both of them jump on her and start apologizing.
Benedetta can’t help but laugh as she lifts both of them.
“Silly! Have you made up with your uncle? He was just trying to protect you two!”
The kids share a glance before looking at her. ” Can’t we play with that uncle, Mommy?” Scarlet asks.
Benedetta frowns since Scarlet doesn’t like strangers.
“Why? You don’t like strangers, do you?”
He seems fun. We will just play. Don’t worry. We won’t make any trouble!”
Benedetta purses her lips. She didn’t know she had to face such a situation. She doesn’t know how to say No. In this

Once someone told her that she was doing wrong by keeping the kids away from their father. They would grow up resenting her.
But she doesn’t want to do it. Not after what he did last night.
“Do you have to –?” She pauses before finishing her sentence and sighs deeply.
The kids tilt their heads confusedly.
Benedetta just let another sigh go before looking at them. No matter what, they’re still kids. They shouldn’t be involved in her personal mess.
Fine. But you are only allowed to meet him twice a day. Also if you notice any women around him, you two must retreat. Do you understand what I said?”
“Can we really?” Their eyes spark.
“Yes!”
“Yahoo!!!”
Benedetta chuckles softly seeing them being happy. However she doesn’t know that her kids were just searching for a chance to continue their own plans without making her worry. Seems like they’ve been successfully dealing their own stuff without any problems.
“I have an important meeting. So be good kids and stay with Dad! Okay?”
She says walking inside the bathroom.
“Okay, Mama!”
The kids run inside their bedroom and call a specific person.
Benedetta walks in an extravagant, lavish meeting room on the first floor of the cruise ship. While heading to the VVIP room for a meeting only, she has noticed such specific things around. There are lots of things that she only thought that existed in books. However, judging by those things, she can sense the strong magical mana releasing from them.
They don’t look too old to call them an antique but obviously it holds the mystery.
The TL company has already been on the top list of the business world. So, she wants to know what they are all about. The
source of their success.
With a cold and unapproachable Aura around her, she walks in the meeting room. She has a full expectation to get the project. The annual fashion show will be held by TL company like usual but this time, she will get the contract for her company to be a sponsor for this show.
But the moment she steps into the room, an unpleasant present makes her feel worse.

“Please calm down! Boss has been thinking about the project you have requested to be part of. So, Boss has decided to see whose proposals are the best for the show. We are open to hear from each of you!”
Benedetta’s eyes widened in excitement. She thought she would crush him with her company. Seems like this chance isn’t far away.
“That’s a great idea. I would like to see how great Alpha Spencer is.” She says, taking her seat.
Spencer clenches his jaw but remains cold,” Sure. I think I will enjoy seeing you being pathetic soon!”
Benedetta’s eyes flash furiously. But her composure is perfect.
Wearing a forced smile, she gives her concentration on Alpha Benefort. Shall we start our meeting?”
