Curtis Hart didn’t want to waste any more time on Kassidy Schneider and said coldly.
“Miss Schneider, if you don’t want to be blacklisted and have your family implicated, you better leave the set quietly. Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to teach you a lesson.”
Kassidy’s eyes widened in disbelief at what she was hearing.
She couldn’t believe her ears.

Sylvia nodded, not bothering to tell Davian that she had already read the script, understood her character, and memorized her lines.
She could start filming immediately if needed.
But Sylvia wasn’t one to overwork herself. Since Davian had kindly given her a week off, she wasn’t going to waste it.
Curtis was pleased and told Davian, “This schedule works perfectly. Sylvia has a reality show to attend, and I was worried about asking you for time off.”

Davian replied, “Miss Grant can take time off whenever she needs. I’ll approve it. She just needs to make up for any missed scenes afterward.”
Sylvia nodded happily, pleased with the arrangement.
Curtis, however, was puzzled by Davian’s unusually accommodating attitude.
Davian wasn’t known for being easygoing.
Curtis remembered a female actor from last year who needed time off due to a family
emergency.
Davian had refused her request, causing her to break down. She had to finish filming before she could leave.
The incident had caused a significant uproar and earned Davian quite a bit of criticism.
But Davian didn’t care, believing in letting his work speak for itself.
As long as the film was good, nothing else mattered.

“What’s surprising about that? Who doesn’t like a beautiful woman? Especially one like me. Mr. Hart, don’t you feel compelled to treat me kindly?” Sylvia teased.
She batted her eyelashes playfully, waiting for his response.
The more Curtis interacted with Sylvia, the more he found her intriguing.
Her actions never seemed annoying, instead adding to her genuine charm.
Curtis chuckled, “I can’t deny it.”
“Mr. Hart, you shouldn’t be too kind to me. Otherwise, I might think you have ulterior motives,” Sylvia said, her tone switching between serious and playful.
It was hard to tell when she was being earnest,
Curtis said, “Alright, I’ll do as you wish.”
Sylvia turned her head and lazily leaned against the car window, stopping their conversation.
She realized she found this man somewhat perplexing.
She couldn’t quite understand him.
Curtis noticed she didn’t want to talk anymore and didn’t push her.
