Escaping at night
“I’ll only be at ease when we see a doctor and he tells me it’s okay,” I sniffed. I was crying.
He carefully wiped away my tears and kissed my face.
“Damn, I had planned such a good night for us. This wasn’t how I imagined it,” he said, disappointed.
“We’ll have time to enjoy ourselves, but now, let’s go to the hospital,” I ordered.
He sighed and drove away slowly, as he could only use one hand. What a mess!
POST COMM
Hospital
POV WILLIAM
It wasn’t the way I planned to end my night.
I had planned so many things for her, and in the end, I ended up in this darn hospital.
I broke my hand, had several fractures, and even broke a rib.
Furthermore, I should know I’m not a teenager anymore to do these things, but when I’m with Julia, I feel like one and do things without thinking.
“Princess!” I called for her, who was napping in the chair next to me. I’m still under observation.
“Hi,” she quickly said. “Do you need anything? Are you feeling okay?” She bombarded me with questions.
Te fine, my angel. Go home and rest,” I asked for the thousandth time.
“No,” she said, crossing her arms and throwing a tantrum. “I want to stay with you.”
“I know, but if your parents find out you didn’t sleep at home, imagine the fuss?” I questioned. She huffed in irritation.
“Why do things have to be like this? She got up and approached me, resting her head on my chest.
“Just for a little while, my beautiful. I want to talk to your father as soon as possible,” I said, being honest
Julia quickly raised her head, looking at me in astonishment. “Are you serious?” she asked, surprised.
“I’ve never been more sincere in my entire life,” I replied.
She smiled, her little eyes shining. “I’m scared,” she confessed, laying her head on my chest again.
“I know,” I said as I stroked her hair. “But regardless of anything, we’ll be together, right?”
“Yes,” she confirmed softly. “Dut I don’t want to get into a fight with my dad; we’ve always been such good friends. And I don’t want you two to lose a lifelong friendship, either.”
“Let’s think about that later, okay? Sometimes we create many theories, and none of them happen.”
“You’re right!” she said.
“Now, please, gorest,” I asked
Julia looked at me with her sad little eyes but nodded, thank God.
“I’ll go,” She paused, moistening her lips. My gaze followed her movement, wanting to
“Then go before I grab you,” I said seriously
hold h
her. “But I come back,” she added.
“You can’t strain yourself, remember. Complete rest,” she said, picking up her backpack. “Goodbye.”
Julia gave me a lingering kiss and left the room, leaving me alone.
1 didn’t even realize I was smiling like an idiot after she left.
I’m really into her.
Furthermore, I spent the whole day alone at the hospital, giving me plenty of time to think about my life and my princess. When night came, the doctor came to my room and discharged me, despite giving me countless recommendations I knew I wouldn’t follow, I called John to pick me up since I couldn’t drive for the next fifteen days.
“When you called me, I didn’t believe it,” he said, entering my room. I thought Julia would come along, but apparently, he’s alone. “What did you do?” he asked. “Accidents happen,” I joked. I didn’t even have an excuse; I couldn’t tell him that I was helping his daughter escape in the middle of the night to do crazy things
Hospital
“With you, they always happen,” he joked as well. “Let’s go home!”
Joh helped me get up and placed me in the wheelchair that was there. I could barely move
y move because of the broken rih.
He guided me to his car in the parking lot, helped me get up, and settled me in the passenger seat.
“Hi,” I heard a sweet voice in my ears. I smiled.
Likewise, I couldn’t turn around to see her, but she was here in the back seat of the car.
“Hi, princess,” I said.
“How are you?” she asked, caressing my hair,
“Better now with you around,” I said, and she smiled.
“Let’s go.” John said, getting into the car. I noticed that Julia adjusted herself in the seats, to her father wouldn’t notice she was very close to me. “How will you handle these days of rest?” he asked, observing me, and I hadn’t even thought about it.
“I don’t know,” I shrugged. “I live my life as usual, I can handle things.”
My friend shook his head, looking at me. “Ava and Julia can help you,” he suggested.
“It won’t be necessary.” I played it cool, but of course, I wanted fulla to take care of me.
“Stop being stubbom!” John said it angrily,
