“That won’t be a problem; you know I always find a way! Now come on, get up and take a shower,” she lightly pushed me.
“I don’t want to,” I whined.
“But you will, or Ill drag you there,” she threatened with her deadly gaze.

Grumbling. I got up and went to take my shower.
“Your clothes,” Oliva pointed to a red dress on the bed. It had some sparkles, was short, and was very open.
“This dress isn’t mine.” I looked at the dress again.
*It’s mine, but I lend it to you. You’ll rock it and forget that idiot.
“I don’t want to hook up with anyone there“.
“Let’s just have fun!” Olivia said excitedly. “Get ready while I take a shower”

After trying to convince Olivia to let me stay home, here I am. In front of one of the most famous clubs in New York.
Olivia managed to get VIP passes for both of us.
How did she do it? I don’t know. But she did it, and we won’t even need to wait in line. It’s good to have connections.
“This is amazing!” she exclaimed as we got out of the toxi
The club was so crowded that the line was turning the corner. I wonder who would endure waiting in that line. They’d waste hours there, for sure.
“It’s packed,‘ I noticed.
“Yes, that’s great. We’ll meet new people, Olivia took my hand and approached the bouncer. She signaled for me to wait, and after a brief exchange with the bouncer, he let us in. We could hear some people complaining
Inside the club, it seemed less crowded than outside. Olivia led me to the VIP area, where we’d be staying. The club was perfect with its black and red decor and style.
“Olivia,” an approached us, calling for my friend. He was handsome, and he smiled at her
“Liam!” She hugged the man. Long time no see. You disappeared”
“I was traveling,” he replied, then turned to me. “rur friend?” he asked Olivia.
“Yes. Shes Julia, the one I told you about,” Olivia smiled.
“Pleasure to meet you, Julia, I hope you recover from your benken heart,” He winked at me and kissed me on the cheek.
I looked indignantly at Olivia. She’s such a gossip.
“Please, Liam, And there’s nothing better than getting drunk to forget about a broken heart, right? I joked.
“Now you’re speaking my language,” he called a waiter with a gesture. The waiter approached us. “Bring two of the best drinks for the ladies,” he ordered, and the waiter nodded before leaving
“I’ll go to the bathroom,” Olivia said out of the blue. “Can you keep my friend company, Lam?” she asked.
“Of course. It will be a pleasure. Let’s sit! He placed his hands on my back and guided me to a secluded armchair.
almost certain that Olivia’s bathroom h has ulterior motives.
“Tell me about yourself, beautiful, he started a conversation when we sat down,
We talked for most of the night. Liam was a nice guy. I told him about myself and asked more about him, and he made sure to share every detail, even the most insignificant ones. He placed his hand on my thigh and caressed it, sending shivers down my spine.
“I know you’re healing from an unresolved love, but nothing’s better than a new love to forget the old one,” he said casually.
“I never use you to forget someone else,” I took a sip of my drink, which was truly delicious and strawberry–flavored.
“I don’t mind if you
do,‘ he said, putting his hand on my nape and pulling my face closer to his

My Father’s Best Friend
I’ll face the world for you.
POV
I know I acted wrongly, I know I acted without thinking; I know I abuses her trust, and I deeply regret it. If I could go hack in time, I would do everything differently. I let myself be carried away by nervousness and pressure, but I won’t blame Angeline, either. The fault is all mine! I acted on impulse, I lied, and I omitted. But damn, compared to what we were building, those things seem so insignificant.
I made a mistake, and my heart is also broken. The worst part is the regret and knowing that it could have been different, knowing that I am responsible for us not being together now.
I parked my car in front of a club owned by an acquaintance of mine. It’s one of the best in New York. I needed some space and to talk to someone who wouldn’t idge me.
As a VIP customer, I don’t need to wait in lines, I can go straight in
“Thanks for bringing me here!” Brian thanked me.
“Enjoy your night,” I gave him a pat on the back, and he laughed.
We entered the club, and as I expected, it was packed.
“Hey!” Brian called out loudly due to the music. Im going to get a drink, what do you want?” he asked.
‘Til come with you,” I said, walking among the lively dancing crowd. Some women even tried to get close to us, but I wasn’t interested.
“I want a shot of whiskey, I requested as I approached the bartender.
He nodded and went to get my drink. I watched the people enjoying another night as if the world were ending today.
“Anything else?” the bartender asked, placing the glass in front of me.
“For now, that’s it,” I replied, stepping away.
1 sipped my drink, savoring the taste that I love so much. I enjoy drinking whiskey–at least one shot a day.
Brian appeared with two women, attempting to push one of them onto me. I tried my best to get rid of her, but the woman was persistent.
