I nodded and thought of other things to try to relax, but it was no use. Everything I thought about came back to that unhappy day,
“Here you go,” She turned off the devices. “You can dress.”
I nodded and got up. Will tried to help me, but I ignored his help, got up on my own, and went to the bathroom again.
I wanted to try to be mature and think rationally about the conversation I overheard. But I can’t. I just can’t.
1 finished changing and went back to the doctor’s office
“It’s okay with your exam, Ellis said when she saw me. “I’ve already y written down the contraceptive medicine for you to take.”
I nodded and got out of there as quickly as possible. I didn’t even

“Julia?” I heard him yell and came to my side. “What’s wrong?” he asked, and I didn’t answer. “Talk to me, princess,” He grabbed my arm, making me look at him.
“I just want to go home,‘ I said.
“Why did you stay like that?” He asked.
“Nothing,” I looked away
He took a deep breath and agreed, unlocked the car alarm, and opened the door for me as usual,
Im going to the pharmacy to buy the medicine,” he warned. “Then we’ll go to the bakery, ok?
“I don’t want to go to the bakery. I just want to go home.”
Time
William looked at me for a while but said nothing. He stopped at the pharmacy and went downstairs to get the medicine, while I suppressed the absurd urge to cry
He came back from the pharmacy, handed me the medicine, stared at me without saying anything, and didn’t even start the car to drive away. This was bothering

“Let’s go soon?” I asked,
“I’m not leaving here until you tell me what’s going on with you,” He spoke firmly
“It’s nothing.”
“hulia, I’m not a kid anymore to play guessing games,” he said without patience. Tell me what happened.”
“Maybe I should go after a boy my age,” I said without thinking. He looked at me, surprised by my answer, and nodded.
“You want that?” He asked dryly. He wasn’t looking at me anymore.
“I want to leave,” I said again.
“Okay,” he nodded and started the car.
I threw myself on the bed, crying.
William hated me now, and maybe it was for the best.
After the answer I gave him, he didn’t speak to me again. We got to his house and he didn’t look at me or even bother to talk to me. On the one hand, I’m grateful for that. But on the other hand, this indifference hurts me.
sat there for a while, crying and thinking about everything that was happening in my life. I decided to stay away from Will for a few days to see if this was real and if we would miss each other. I also called Olivia and asked to stay at her house for a few days, and she said yes. I packed my bag and left my room.
In the living room, Will was sitting and drinking his beloved whisky with my brother. When they heard my footsteps, they both looked at me.
“Where are you going? Brian asked, getting up and approaching me
“I’m going to spend a few days at Olivia’s,” I replied.
“Do you think you can fool me, Julia?” he asked, looking at me stemly. “You slept out yesterday! Where were you?”
“I don’t owe you any satisfaction, Brian,” I glared at him angrily. He wants to boss me around.

“My brother, not my father,” I pulled my arm tight and said, “If you don’t believe me, ask Olivia, I’m staying at her house”
“Why is that now? Isn’t it good for you here?” he asked, letting his guard down.
“It’s fine,” I said I just want to stay at her place.”
“All right,” he shrugged. “Where did you spend the night and with whom?” he asked.

Anyway, to avoid any more
more arguments, and so I could get out of this house soon, I agreed to

We got into his car in silence, and for most of the way, it was like that. I mentally thanked him for it.
“Why don’t you want to stay at my place?” He asked with his eyes fixed on the road.
” already said… I want to stay at Olivia.”
“Julia, I wasn’t born yesterday. I know something happened during the short time you went to the bathroom to change at the clinic. You came back from that bathrooms different, and nobody changes like that out of nowhere. Tell me what’s going on?!” He blurted it out, looking at me now.
I took a deep breath.
“Why did you take me to that clinic?” I asked.
“Decause I knew Ellis, and I knew that she would treat you well and that you would be in good hands,” He justifies
“Really?” I asked wrily. “You thought it was a great idea to take me to have a consultation with an ex–girlfriend of yours?”
I watch William park the car somewhere I don’t know and stare at me. His eyes are always so intense that I can’t stare at him too long because it takes me a while to surrender.
“Princess, Ella was never my girlfriend.
“But you’ve had some kind of relationship!” 1 affirmed.
