Lily looked at herself in the mirror repeatedly, making sure the makeup she put on hid the bruises that had formed on her face, and when she was finally satisfied, she plastered a fake smile on her face and left for Asher’s room.

Lily’s eyes widened slightly, and she swallowed, confused on what to say as she chuckled. “That’s… That’s, impossible.”

You gave me a silly ass explanation as to why you treated me like I was air for 5 years but never gave a good apology, never tried to make up to it with your actions either.
