Lily blinked a couple of times to get adjusted to the light, and once she did, her lips fell open at the sight before her. “Is this…” She turned to get a good luck at Asher, who bobbed his head in agreement, and she clamped her hands over her lips. “Are you for real? Before her was a trail of roses and after what seemed to be a couple of steps, a heart was formed with the roses and a gift was wrapped and placed inside it, and what was even more mind blowing was the fact that there wasn’t a single person in sight.
“Do you own this beach? She asked, looking around and soaking in the view of the beach. It was quite small compared to others, but it was cozier, and something about it, maybe the flowers and gifts made it more appealing.
Asher shook his head. “I rented it out for us. Do you like it?” She turned to him with her brows raised and a grin plastered on her face
“Like it? I freaking love it! She squealed and satisfaction spread all over Asher’s body. Thank you so much… I love it. She repeated, and a smug smile lit up his face.
“Why don’t you walk your runway then! Your gifts are waiting for you.
She clapped her hands excitedly and nodded. “Walk with me!” She gazed at him, a hopeful glint in her eyes. Asher gently took her hand in his and placed a soft kiss on it, causing a sudden rush of heat to travel down her body and a blush coated her cheeks.
This runway is yours, ma’am. I wouldn’t want to steal the spotlight with my awesomeness.” A big smile covered Lily’s face, but she rolled her eyes, trying to hide the smile.

He breathed out a laugh and let go of her hand gently. Lily took a deep breath and began walking down her path of flowers. Her first gift ended bring a swimming wear and she threw Asher a questioning glance which he responded with by shrugging his shoulders

She didn’t bother opening any of the gifts anymore, saving it later so she could devour the feeling of tearing her presents apart in private, plus she was impatient to get to the end of her path to see what was waiting for her.
She ended up on what seemed like a dock and there was a yacht waiting for them. She felt tears well up in her eyes, not because she has never seen one or been in one, but because she has never had the chance to enjoy being in one. She was always either left out when her family goes for a break on the yacht, or she was tasked with being yet another servant for them on the yacht. For years she has kept it at the back of her mind to go on one by herself but one thing or the other always overshadowed it but today…
Without thinking twice about it, she flung herself into Asher’s arms.. “Thank you, Asher,” she said in between sobs, and Asher’s eyes widened in
panic.
He didn’t think seeing a yacht would make her cry. Was she scared of it! He rubbed her back cautiously for a while, before Lily finally broke out of the bug all smiles, deepening his confusion.
“I can’t wait for the fun I’m about to have on this baby” She giggled, wiggling her shoulders, and Asher’s confusion dissolved into a laugh. being serious right now?

Lily ignored his stare and obvious astonishment at her actions, and just proceeded to tap the yacht in excitement, doing a mini dance. She was about to rush inside and find a place she could change into her swimwear in, when she suddenly paused and faced Asher.
She stood there staring at him, and Asher frowned, growing worried. He waved his hand before her face, “are you goo?”

She nodded mechanically. I am. I am just wondering.

She cocked her head to the side, thinking of the ways to present the thoughts in her head, how to subtly ask him about what he saw in the envelope that caused such a change, but no ideas came to mind.
“Are you going to tell me?” He asked, breaking her out of her thoughts and she released a deep breath.
“I was just wondering about the nature of our deal. Wasn’t I the one that was supposed to do things to make you fall in love with me and not the other way around?”
The confusion and curiosity on Asher’s face waned, and his lips curled up in a smirk. Is this an admission that my actions are making you fall in love with me?
