The next day, Camryn responded to the recent rumors on Twitter.
“Hello, everyone. This is Camryn Storm. Regarding the various rumors that have been circulating recently, I would like to make the following statement.
“First, the rumors about my relationship with Mr. Xavion Jacobson, CEO of Jacobson Group, are true. Before I debuted, we were in a relationship for three years, and after we had an amicable break, I joined Stellar Sound Group, trained overseas for three years, and officially returned to the country in March of this year to debut and release my album. Mr. Jacobson and I have remained friends during this time.
“Second, regarding my role as a guest on Voice of the Heart, I was officially invited by the program team through the company. I’m honored to join this highly acclaimed show, collaborate with outstanding mentors, and create and perform new works together.
“Third, Stellar Sound Group has already addressed the various topics circulating online. We will not discuss any further unfounded rumors.”
Once the statement was posted, it immediately topped the trending list.
Jacobson Group’s official Twitter account reposted and pinned it, while Stellar Sound Group also collected information on users who were still spreading false rumors and prepared to take legal action.
Upon seeing that both parties had openly admitted the truth, most netizens stopped discussing it, with a small group still shipping the two of them as a couple.
After the situation calmed down, Camryn stopped paying attention to the online discourse. She applied for leave from the company and went on a trip with Yvette.
The vast starry sky of the desert, the golden mountain under the sunlight on the snowy plains, the endless waves on the coast…
The two of them immersed themselves in the beautiful natural scenery.
Inspired, Camryn wrote a few songs during the trip.
As her first listener, Yvette not only shared their travel stories online but also gave her many suggestions.
By the time they reached the final destination, Camryn had four nearly complete demo tracks.
Sitting on the couch, she recorded the inspiration she had gathered while Yvette interacted with fans online beside her.
Suddenly, Yvette saw something that made her burst into laughter while holding her stomach.
Camryn leaned over and saw a comment on the screen from one of her fans.
“Miss, surely you’re not the ‘sugar daddy the netizens have been trying to uncover?”
Seeing the sneaky emoji attached to the message, Camryn couldn’t help but laugh along.
Yvette crossed her legs and replied to the message, “That’s right, it’s me. What’s so surprising about me inviting my darling Camryn to be on a show? At the end of this year, I’m also going to release a brand–new documentary about her. Everyone, make sure to stay tuned!”
“A documentary?” Camryn stared at Yvette in surprise upon seeing the words she had typed. “I didn’t know about this.”
Yvette took out the footage she had filmed over the past month with a camera, smiling brightly.
“I’ve had it ready for a while. The entire process of how these four songs came to life has been recorded. Once we’re back, I’ll contact an editor to put it together. We’ll release it when your new album comes out. Let’s see who will still doubt your abilities then!”
Seeing how thoughtful her best friend was, Camryn felt a lump in her throat. She reached out and hugged her. “Yvle, why are you so nice to me?”
“Who else would I spoil if not my precious?” Yvette teased.
Yvette raised her hand and playfully pinched her nose, smiling with her eyes crinkled in delight. “Crybaby, why do you cry so easily?”
