Trent roared, his eyes bloodshot, like
a lion without its mate.
Suddenly, he remembered something and rushed upstairs. In his study, there was a box with a sticky note reading
“Open in one month“. He held the box,
full of hope.
“Maybe Lily left a message here,
guiding me to find her.*
He muttered to himself and
frantically opened the box. Then he saw
the divorce papers signed with my name.

He clutched the papers, collapsing
into a chair, unable to believe it.
“Lily loves me so much, why would she leave me? Who took away the gift Lily
gave me?!”
He gritted his teeth, refusing to accept it. He questioned the maids who
had touched the box.
“Mr. Holloway, all we did was clean
the house. Without your or Mrs.
Holloway’s orders, we won’t touch
anything we should’t.”
“Mr. Holloway, you can check the
security footage. We didn’t do anything to
that box.”

refused to believe it. He didn’t accept the
truth until he saw the surveillance video.
He knew it was the exactly box I’d
