neberva had no idea that christopher had moved to stand behind her.
Baring the final check–up, Rebecca finally sat in the corridor outside the examination room after making sure that Yvonne was lying on the examination table. She could fully take a break
Broor approached her slowly betere crouching down. “Ms. Batton, thank you
Rebecca looked up at him. She didn’t want to stress him up, so she flashed him a small smile.
“she be fine. Don’t worry,” she replied softly.
Rebecca was about to say something else when she spotted a tall and well–built figure in front of her.
Christopher parsed his lips, an unknown expression plastered on his face. He kept staring at her the whole time.
After making eye contact with him for a moment, Rebecca slowly got up to her feet. She found it awkward to maintain eye contact. “Why are youbrir?”
Could it be that the Grants were informed of her involvement because of 11
of the police report? Well, this was quite embarrassing.
Meanwhile, Christopher didn’t expect that Rebecca would run herself ragged around the hospital for the sake of a little girl she had never met before.
Only a handful of people were selfless enough to do that. Most of the people would care about themselves only.
Who’d be that selfless to get involved in other people’s matters? Not to mention, one would be physically and mentally tired from in dealing with such matters. Bruce appeared to have spotted Christopher as well. He ducked behind Rebecca while loolding a little scared.
Rebecca patted Bruce comfortingly, “It’s fine. He’s not a bad
puy.”
Christopher looked at Rebecca immediately. “The girl that you saved just now… What sort of disease will she most likely contract?
When she heard Christopher’s question, Rebecca was a little confused at first, but she still explained, “Technically, it’s confirmed that she has contracted leukemia. Weluve no idea if her illness is considered severe or not. If it is, she’ll have to get a bone marrow transplant.”
As soon as Bebecca’s words fell, Christopher’s expression dackened slightly. It was true that such a disease could ruin a family with a regular background.
In other words, most of the families in Orldey wouldn’t be able to afford the treatment for leukemia.
“Let’s talk in private.”
Bruce quickly scuttled away before Reberra could respond to Christopher. It wasn’t as though he didn’t know who Christopher was.
He knew very well how righteous and just Christopher was, so lur had nothing but massive respect for him. That was why the little boy dated not get close to Cristopher
Once Bruce left the area, Rebecca lowered her gaze in order to conceal the emotions in her eyes. A moment later, she ally looked at Christopher again. “Aur you planang to sonid mar?”
Custopher towed his eyes in response. He asked hoarsely, “Why would I do that?–
Buen swords came floating into Rebecca’s mind. She replied in a self–deprecating manner, “Because I meddled in someone else’s business.”
Charlerophes let out a sigh. “If you’re doing what you can to help out others, then you’re not really meddling in other people’s business. I’m not saying that you

Se knew what the Warles financial situation is like. Der Yvonne’s diagnosed with leukemia, have you ever thought about what if her family has unanimously traded to and go with the Tomatinant? When the time comes, what will you do?”
