Before Rebecca could reart, Nick reached out and yanked at her shirt. The fabric tore at the waist revealing her fair skin.
Rebecca took a deep breath, her eyes ablaze with anger. Nick smiled politely, holding up the dress he had just purchased.
“Miss, this dress is perfect for you. What’s your phone number Let’s exchange contacts.”
Nick pulled our his Motorola phone, ready to save Rebecca’s contact information.
Rebecca’s eyes flickered at the talk of a phone number. She didn’t even own a phone. The one in Nick’s hand looked so advanced, she had never seen anything like it. “I don’t have a phone. Since you tore my clothes, T’ll take the dress!”
Rebecca grabbed the dress and ran out the door without hesitation.
