The Perfect Heiress’ Biggest Sin 19

Chapter 19

Evan and his friends took the overnight flight to Willesden

By the time they landed, dawn had yet to break. The cold wind hit Evan’s face the moment he stepped off the plane, but he didn’t feel it. There was a fire burning inside himone that made him desperate to see Joselyn

As they left the airport, one of his friends chuckled. Evan, remember back in the day? You and Jarrett used to swear you’d never set foot in each other’s cities. Yet here you are, walking right into Willesden.”

Evan didn’t respond. He simply adjusted his cuffs, his expression set with determination

Someone else hesitated before asking, Evan, are you sure you’re in love with Joselyn? You do realize you’re the one at a disadvantage if you look for her this time, right?”

I don’t care about anything else,Evan said. I just want her.”

His friends exchanged glances before breaking into laughter. Giving up everything for love is nothing to be ashamed of!”

Evan ignored them, already heading toward the car that had been arranged in advance

Joselyn’s image filled his mind, and his heart burned with the urgent need to see her

By the time the car pulled up outside Joselyn’s dance studio, the sun had begun to rise. Evan stood in front of the door, took a deep breath, and stepped inside. Inside, Joselyn was dancing. She moved like a butterfly, her body flowing effortlessly with the music. It was as if the entire world had stilled just for her. Evan stood frozen in the doorway, watching in a trance

Behind him, one of his friends let out a low whistle. Damn, Joselyn really is beautiful.”

Evan shot him a sharp lookone so icy it could freeze over hell

The guy instantly threw his hands up. Whoa, chill! I wouldn’t dare go near her, man! I was just saying.”

Ignoring him, Evan turned back to look at Joselyn. Every movement she made and every glance she gave felt etched into his mind, impossible to forget

Then, the dance ended. Joselyn turned around and spotted him. Her face paled in an instant

Without a word, she grabbed her things, ready to leave. But Evan blocked her path

Josie, II’m here to apologize.Evan’s voice was hoarse. There was even a hint of pleading in his eyes. I was a jerk before. I shouldn’t have used you and hurt you. Please, will you forgive me?”

Joselyn looked at him coldly. Her voice was devoid of warmth as she said, If you’re here to apologize, then don’t bother. I’d rather just forget it all.”

Evan’s heart sank, and his voice carried a hint of desperation. I’m not only here to apologize. I’m here toask for another chance. Babe, I’m sorry. I’ve fallen for you

This past month, there’s been no one else on my mind but you. Every day without you has been unbearable. I never actually planned to release those videos. Please, forgive me.Joselyn let out a sharp laugh, full of mockery. You think an apology and a confession are enough to erase everything you did? You used me. You hurt me. You even planned to humiliate Jarrett with those videos And now, you think I’d forgive you?”

Evan palea. His voice wavered. Josie, I know I was wrong. I swear, I know. Just give me one chance. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you and loving you.”

Joselyn didn’t respond. She simply looked at him coldly, her gaze unwavering

Evan felt like his heart was being crushed. The pain was so intense, it nearly took his breath away. He lunged forward and pulled Joselyn into his arms. At that moment, it felt like his soul had finally returned to him

Her body was soft and warm. It felt like the only salvation in his life

Josie, don’t goHis voice was hoarse, almost pleading, What will it take for you to forgive me? I’ll do anything. Even if you want me dead, I’ll do it! Please!”

The next second, a fist crashed into Evan’s face. He staggered back a few steps. When he looked up he saw Jarrett

Jarrett’s eyes were cold. His voice was laced with barely contained fury as he said, Evan Lloyd, how dare you touch my sister?”
