Jacob was highly annoyed in that instant. He couldn’t stop picturing the sight of Eloise in a wedding gown from when he exited earlier. It shocked Jacob that she was married, and even more shockingly, her wedding was today!
Eloise had once called out Jacob for thinking, she was only getting married as a trick to keep birn by her side. With that in mind, Jacob wondered if Eloise had only gone through with marriage to spark regret in him.
“Oh, right. Which wealthy family is the Robinson family’s daughter–in–law from? How was there no news about it before?” Lily asked Vincent
“She might not be an heiress, to begin with.” Vincent brought out the Robinson family’s wedding invitation. “The bride’s name is Eloise.”
“Eloise?” Lily exclaimed before asking, “Maybe that name’s just popular?”
Jacob snatched the invitation from Vincent. His chest tightened with panic when he saw the bride’s name was indeed Eloise.
“There’s no way it’s that specific Eloise. Why would the Robinson family let an unknown nobody marry their heir? She’s not worthy of being William’s maid, much less his bride! It would be the joke of the century if she’s actually his bride!” Lily sneered.
That was when the Robinson family’s wedding convoy arrived.
The main car with the bride and groom stopped at the entrance, with William getting out of the car first.
Many reporters were at the door, so all the camera lights were on William. To be fair, he naturally had the star quality that attracted everyone’s attention.
William fixed his necktie before walking to the other side of the car with a charming smile. After that, he opened the door, bowed, and held his bride’s hand
The camera flashes were more frequent once the veiled bride exited the car. It was as if William had shifted the limelight to her.
Eloise looked up at William, then followed him into the castle. He was like a prince, holding hands with his bride as they walked toward their happy ending in a fairytale.
Just then, Jacob suddenly rushed out and blocked the newlywed’s path. He stared at Eloise in disbelief while shaking his head. “There’s no way it’s you, Eloise. It can’t be…‘
William protectively moved Eloise behind him. “Don’t you think it’s a little rude that you’re staring at my wife like this, Jacob?”
Jacon’s gaze snapped toward William when he heard that. “W–Why are you marrying her? Are you making things difficult for me on purpose? You-”
A chuckle came from William “You think too highly of yourself, Jacob.”
“You’ve always had it in for me since we were children! Even now, you’re trying to cause me trouble with this wedding. You”
William didn’t bother waiting for Jacob to finish speaking. He punched the latter right away
Shocked gasps erupted in the space. At the same time, reporters flooded in from outside the gates, causing the security guards to take action instantly.
Jacob was also inmediately infuriated by the situation. He balled his fists, ready to fight back, when Vincent suddenly came over to yell at him.
Vincent snapped, “Why are you acting out? Hurry up and apologize to William!”
Jacob’s eyes reddened as he glowered at William.
Jack and Xavier rushed over at that moment. They restrained Jacob from each side and dragged him away from the couple. “Don’t ruin your wedding and Eloise’s! You’re marrying Sophia, and Eloise is marrying William! What’s wrong with that? Quit lashing out!”
Jacob no longer looked at William. Instead, he focused on Eloise, who stood behind William.
Eloise was also looking at Jacob now, but her eyes were cold and full of disgust.
Jacob lost his strength all at once and fell backward on the ground. That caused the wedding guests and reporters to exclaim.
It was also then that Soplala ran to Eloise like a crazed beast. “N–No way! How could it be you? How are you more worthy than me of marrying into a better family?”
