Chapter 81
William returned to the Robinson residence. As the heir to the Robinson family, his wedding was a major sensation in Kingsbury. As a result, he needed to entertain prominent figures from the business and political worlds.
Eloise didn’t need to worry about wedding–related matters as the Robinson family would take care of everything. However, since the villa was their new home, she still needed to decorate the place with some flower arrangements and balloons to add to the festive atmosphere.
The day before the wedding, Quincey had taken leave from the film crew, and Cella did the same. They were Eloise’s closest friends in Kingsbury, after all. In the afternoon, John and Leela also arrived to help with the decorating
“Ellie, come out and look at this huge wedding banner. It’s at least seven feet long!” Quincey called to Eloise from the outside.
Eloise was on a video call with Willian when she heard Quincey calling, and she gave her a response to indicate she was on the way.
“I need to head downstairs,” Eloise told William.
“Okay, In the video call, William was lying on a lounge chair, the setting sun casting a soft glow on his profile.
William had been extremely busy the past few days, but he made it a point to call her no matter how late it was. Like now, there was no need to find a topic to talk about. They were happy just looking at each other quietly.
“Should I hang up?” Eloise asked.
William smirked. “Do you miss me?”
“I’m kind of… okay.” Eloise felt her cheeks heat up
“I miss you,” – William said.
“How much do you miss me?” Eloise asked curiously.
William replied, “As soon as I close my eyes, I start thinking about how you look. Then I want to kiss you, and I want to hold you tight, and I want to “Stop thinking!” Eloise quickly stopped him in a panic..
William chuckled. “I haven’t thought that much, but you sure did imagine plenty.”
Eloise gave a soft huff. William was teasing her on purpose.
Just then, someone knocked on the door on William’s side. “Mr. Huntington, Mr. Wells from Atlas Airways is here. Mr. Robinson has asked that you go down and receive him.”
William glanced over and asked, “Is Mr. Kilbourne from Kilbourne Group still downstairs?”
“Yes, he’s been waiting to see you,” the person at the door answered
“Have them sit for a while,” William instructed.
“Of course, understood,” the household staff member said and left.
After giving his instructions, William turned back to Eloise and licked his lips with a smile. “Where were we?”
Eloise stared into his eyes. She had clearly seen a brief flash of mischief in William’s gaze.
“Oh, right. We were talking about how you wanted more wa sald teasingly.
Eloise shot him a glare, which made William laugh out loud.
“Alright, I have to go downstairs and deal with those two old–timers,”

Eloise hung up the video call and went downstairs. Everyone was busy, and she felt a little guilty. As she stepped outside, she heard a commotion and looked toward the door. A group of girls, around 17 or 18 years old, were gathered in front of her house.
They were pointing and whispering in front of her villa. As soon as they saw her, it was like a spark was lit, and they became excited immediately. “It’s really her! She lives right across from Ms. Whitmore!”
“How could there be such a shameless person in this world? Mr. Kilbourne is about to marry Ms. Whitmore already, and she still won’t let go!”
“She’s just trying to wedge herself into their marriage. Mr. Kilbourne doesn’t even care about her!”
“Ms. Whitinure is having a wedding, and she’s having one too. She’s clearly trying to stir up trouble!”
Eloise wondered if they were Sophia’s fans, and she couldn’t help but glance across the street. She saw Sophia standing at her door, looking in her direction. Sophia’s house was also under decoration, and there were many people.
At that moment, an overly agitated fan rushed in and pulled down the seven–foot–long wedding banner at the door. She then jumped on it and started stomping on it. The other fans followed and rushed in to join her in the trampling.
