Chapter 75
The entire room went silent because nobody expected the situation to escalate this much.
Xavier and Jack got their senses back first and quickly helped Jacob to his feet. They took him outside to wash up.
Some of the food and liquor had splattered onto William’s pants, so Jack got him a clean pair.
“I’m okay. I’ll get changed in the next room,” said William.
Jack nodded and said in awe, “I didn’t know you could drink so much.”
William shrugged and said, “It’s no big deal.”
Dace they were alone, William Teaned against Eloise’s shoulder and said, “I think I’m drunk.”
Eloise kissed him and said, “Thank you.”
“What?”
“Thanks for
ls for protecting me,” said Eloise,
“You shouldn’t thank me,” said William
“It’s my duty as a man,” said William
Eloise blushed and nudged him.
“Go and get changed I’ll walk Quincey to her cab,” said Eloise.
Quincey was asleep at the bar, and Eloise patted her back
“Quincey, it’s time to go home,” said Eloise.
Quincey got up and yawned. “What took you so long?”
“I became a waitress for a moment,” said Eloise.
“Let me take you home 1 booked a ride,” said Quincey
Eloise shook her head and said, “It would be a huge detour for you. I…I have a friend.”
“Oh, you asked Xavier to send you home? Sure,” said Quincey without dwelling on it.
Eloise walked Quincey outside and watched her get into the cab before going back inside. She walked to the private room and was about to push the door open when William suddenly pulled her inside.
“We should go home,” said William.
He suddenly lifted her. He sat her down on the table and kissed her. His breath smelled like alcohol, but Eloise didn’t mind. She actually found it
intoxicating
It wasn’t the right time or place, but she wrapped her arms around his neck and reciprocated the kiss. Their lust for each other ignited and couldn’t be extinguished.
They kept going until they heard voices coming from outside. There were people headed their way.
“Where’s Boise?” asked Jack
“She must have left with Quincey,” said Xavier.
“I think William’s still in the room. I’ll send Jacob home. You send William,” said Jack.
“Okay.”
Xavier knocked on the door and said, “William, let’s go. I’ll send you home.”
Eloise pushed Willian away and leaned against his chest while panting.
“Xavier and the others don’t know about us yet,” said Eloise.
“Then let’s give them a surprise at our wedding,” said William.
He kissed her hard and took off his jacket. He threw it over her head, carried her off the table, and strode outside.
Xavier blinked at the sight of them and asked confusedly, “And this is?”
William coughed and said, “This is my fiance,”
“You’re getting married?” asked Xavier
“Yup,” said William and kissed the top ed Eloise’s head. “She’s quite shy. I’ll introduce you to each other properly next time.”
Chapter 75
Jacob was still causing a scene when they walked out of the bar.
“Where’s Eloise? I want to see her this very instant!” yelled Jacob.
Jack was already very annoyed with him and said, “Eloise went home.”
“How dare she leave me here! Ask her to get back here!” shouted Jacob.
William whispered into Eloise’s ear, “You should have cut his tongue off when you broke up with him.”
Benjamin arrived with the car and William waved goodbye to Xavier.
“I’ll send you my wedding invitation soon,” said William.
