Ethan had already planned to have dinner at Lily’s house, and staying for lunch with the sisters didn’t conflict at all.
“Serena, are you okay?–
As soon as Jessie and Wanda were mentioned, they arrived. A melodious voice came from the direction of the entrance. A woman in a white dress ran toward Serena, and her face was filled with concem.
She was about the same height as Serena, tall and elegant. Her hair was dyed silver–gray. She exuded a pure and graceful air.
“I’m fine, thanks to Ethan. He arrived just in time and saved me from the kidnappers.”
The woman turned to look at Ethan, her eyes flashing with a strange gleam.
“Hello, Ethan. I’m Jessie. Since you’re Serena’s godbrother, that makes you my godbrother too. You can call me jessie.” “Hello, Jessie.”
They shook hands when Jessie suddenly remembered something. She stepped forward and leaned in close to Ethan, whispering in his ear, “By the way, I heard you’re quite good in medicine and even healed Cindy. Is that true?”

She remembered asiding well–known professors from the Alternative Medicine Academy, including Sam, but none of them could offer any help. All simply shook
their heads and admitted defeat.
“It just means their medical skills aren’t good enough, I think Cindy’s condition was just a minor issue.”
“Well, I didn’t expect this godbrother of mine to be so confident. She had only wanted to confirm something, but this unexpected confidence was quite a surprise. “Since you’re so good at medicine, could you help me with something?”
“Sure, what’s up?”
As a postgraduate student at the Alternative Medicine Academy, she had been busy worlding on a research paper. Recently, she had encountered many points that needed to be proven, which had been stressing her out.
Soon, she brought a laptop from upstairs and opened the draft she had been struggling with for days and nights. She thought it was decent enough.
