After a minute of standoff, the kidnapper with the gun swallowed nervously. His palms were sweating:

“It’s just firing a gun. Look at you, acting all scared.” With that, Ethan disarmed the kidnapper and then immediately struck the two Iddnappers‘ feet with a series

The gunfire was deafening. Serena curled up to the ground with her hands over her head. On the other hand, the two kidnappers were so shocked that they nearly lost control of themselves. A warm sensation flooded down their legs.
After the loud shots died down, the kidnappers slowly opened their eyes to find bullet holes mere inches from their feet. They would have been hit if the bullets had missed by evena little.
Ethan was truly a professional
“Listen, you’re surrounded. Put down your weapons and surrender now to avoid further consequences!” The sound of a loudspeaker came from outside. It was the police.
Lily rushed in and quickly checked on Ethan

“Don’t worry, I’m line. If anyone’s in trouble, it’s them.”
Lily looked at the two kidnappers and noticed the tenor in their eyes as they glanced at Ethan. It wasn’t surprising. Anyone who had a gun pointed at them while the entire magazine was emptied would certainly be shaken. To put it plainly, they were scared out of theirwits
After Thomas and his team rushed to the scene, they used the loudspeaker several times, but there was no response from the kidnappers inside.
The gunfire they heard earlier made them frantic. They didn’t know what the situation was inside or whether Serena, the hostage, was safe.
“Mr. Hart, should we send someone inside to check?”
No. Let’s hold off on that for now. We need to find a way to communicate with the kidnappers first.
“Look! Someone’s coming out!”
Everyone reacted quickly. They noticed several figures coming out from the house. One of them was even holding a handgun, which startled Thomas. *Sniper team, get ready. Aim at the armed kidnapper. If necessary, take them out!”
“Understood!”
After giving the signal, Thomas raised the loudspeaker again and called out, “Put down your weapons. Don’t resist for no reason. Surrendering is your only way out.
“Wait a minute, Mr. Hart. Don’t you think the two people walking in front, wearing masks, look more like the kidnappers?”
Even he noticed something off. Why were the kidnappers in front? And what about the one holding the gun in the back?
“We surrender! We give up!”
When they got within 30 feet, the two people at the front raised their hands and spoke first. The one holding the gun in the back dropped it to the ground.
As they got closer, the police could see that the kidnappers were looking at them with an almost pleading expression, like they had just seen their saviors. The police were here to arrest the kidnappers. What was with those pitiful looks?
“Officers, we’re the kidnappers. Please take us away.”
“What’s happening?
The officers exchanged confused glances. How had things turned out like this? Why were the kidnappers acting this way?
“ML Walker, can you tell us what happened?”

After Serena briefly described the entire incident, all the police officers, including Thomas, could hardly believe their ears. But looking at the captured kidnappers and how Serena was unharmed, everything she said was clearly true.
“Regardless, Ms. Walker, we’re just glad you’re safe. We’re sorry it took so long to find your location. These kidnappers were extremely clever. From their choice of where to kidnap you, to the entire process of moving you, they left no trace for us to follow. If it hadn’t been for your bank account login, we wouldn’t have been able to find your exact location.”
They had all been on edge all night, fearing the worst for Seren, but now, they could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
“That’s not your fault. After all, you’re all ordinary people. It’s not like you can just find someone wherever you want.” Though she had panicked earlier, she understood the difficulties the police faced
“That’s not true! Erty can find people just like that,” Lily interjected. Her words surprised everyone by revealing that Ethan had arrived before the police. “That’s right, Lily. How’d you find this place?” Serena was curious, as was Thomas. Was it a coincidence or something else?
“We were led here by your hair
Everyone was even more confused now How could hair help lead them to the location?
“Never mind. Ethan, wing don’t you explain how you found this place?”
“Didn’t Lily already say? 11 was your hair” Ethan gave the same reply as Lily. This made everyone suspicious

Though Thomas was also curious, considering they were Serena’s siblings, he didn’t press further.
“Forget it, Ms. Walker. We can’t force them to share what they’re reluctant to say. The kidnappers have been caught. We’ll give you an update soon.” “Alright”
The group then left with the police and headed home
Meanwhile, at the police station, Thomas interrogated the four kidnappers in detall. Their statements were surprisingly consistent. They all expressed fear of Ethan and called him a big shot
“Mr. Hat, I think these kidnappers might be trying to divert our attention,” one of the officers suggested.
“Whether what they say is true or not, let’s investigate Ethan discreetly.”

After returning to their home at Crystal Cove, Serena first took a quick shower. She changed into clean clothes and went to the living room.
“Ethan, as promised, here’s a card with a hundred thousand dollars. You can spend it however you like.”
