Two people entered. They were both wearing hoods that obscured their faces. It was impossible to make out their appearance. While apologizing, one of them stepped forward and removed the tape from her mouth,
“Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?” Serena demanded.
“It’s obvious that we’re kidnappers. As for why we didnapped you, it’s for money.”
“Do you think I’m that easy to fool?” she shot back “Just tell me. Who sent you? Was it Brandon or someone else?”
Surprisingly, the kidnappers were remarkably calm, which caught her off guard. But as she thought about it, she realized that if they weren’t instructed by someone else, who in Silverbank City would dare to go after the daughter of the richest man?
