Her heart beat fast in her chest as she tried to summon the courage to protest. However, it was as though an invisible hand was pressing down on her, making her unable to lift her head.
Just as Abbie was going to cry from pans, a crisp voice sounded from above her. “No. Why should I join you guys? We don’t know each other.”
