“I am sorry if I scared you,” Ryan said

“You didn’t. Now go get back to training,” I said, and he laughed.

“Okay, maybe me, you, and Sof can go to lunch afterward,” Ryan said

“Sure, that sounds good,” I said with a smile, and Ryan ran over to a group that was training. I watched in amazement how everyone that was training was focused and very strong, even the teens. They all listened to what their trainers told them to do. I was shocked to see Emily throw a man that was twice her size into a tree. He got back up as if nothing had happened.

“So, what do you think?” Emily asked as she walked over to me. They were taking a fifteen–minute break, and Ryan was talking to some of the younger children trying to help them with their fighting skills.

“You are strong, Emily. Remind me never to get on your bad side,” I said, and she laughed. Suddenly her smile turned to a frown as she looked behind me.

“Oh, my Goddess, what is she doing here?” Emily said

“Who,” I asked and turned to see Jane walking over to the training field.

“You are not supposed to be here, Jane. You already know that,” Ryan said

“Why not? I am here to train like everyone else,” Jane said. I could see everyone watching their interaction.

“You know why you are not supposed to be here,” Ryan replied

“Just because your Mate is upset that we fucked before doesn’t mean I am supposed to be mistreated. I deserve to be treated like every other Pack Member. I am not the only she–wolf you have fucked,” Jane said.

Everyone was whispering among themselves, and I felt a little uncomfortable with what was happening. Ryan looked like he wanted to rip Jane apart.

I decided to walk over to Ryan and place my hand on his shoulder, which caused him to turn and look at me.

“It’s okay, Ryan. Let her train like everyone else,” I said

“What? No,” Ryan started to say, but I cut him off.

“She is trying to make it look like you are mistreating her because of me. That can, cause problems for you with the Council, and I don’t want that to happen. The best thing to do is let her train,” I said. Ryan looked at me for a moment and then sighed. I could see that he knew I was right.

“Since you are a Pack Member, you can train, but make sure you stay away from my Mate and your future Luna. You also know you are not allowed in the Packhouse anymore. So, after training, you need to leave,” Ryan said, making a frown go to Jane’s lips that she quickly hid with a smile.

“Of course. We all know she is a human and not strong enough to take on a werewolf. I would never try to hurt our fragile Luna,” Jane said. I would be lying if I said that comment didn’t get to me. It was obvious she was calling me weak.

“I will not take you disrespecting my Mate and your future, Luna,” Ryan said

“Of course not. I would never disrespect a Luna,” Jane said and walked to a group of females.

“I am sorry she is here,” Ryan said

“It’s okay. Jane is a Pack Member and deserves to train like everyone else,” I replied.

Ryan finished training, and I was happy Jane didn’t say anything to me and stayed away from me. What I didn’t like was that she and her friends kept looking my way, and I knew she was talking about me, but I ignored them. I was never the one for drama and felt really uncomfortable.

Once training was over, Emily, Ryan, and I walked to our floor, and I went to my room while Ryan changed. Once he was finished, he came and got me from my room, and we went to get Sof from his parent’s floor so we could get some food.

“I wanted to tell you again how sorry I am about Jane. I know it must be hard to be around her after what she tried to do to you,” Ryan said

“I am not going to lie. It is hard being around her. I am uncomfortable and don’t feel safe with her around,” I said honestly.

“I know, Sweetheart. That is one of the reasons I kicked her out of the Packhouse. I don’t trust her with you and don’t want you to be uncomfortable. I wish I could kick her out of the Pack, but I can’t because of the investigation with the Council but don’t worry, that will be over soon, and she will be gone,” Ryan said, and I smiled at him. I didn’t know what to say about the whole situation.
