Violet’s POV
“Ahhh.” I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Jane just turned into a giant brown wolf. Without hesitation, I started to run. I didn’t know how to get out of the woods and ended up going deeper. I had a feeling that Jane gave me a headstart. It was like she wanted to chase me, and I was sure she would catch
me.
I jumped back when Jane’s Brown wolf jumped in front of me. I fell to the ground and moved back until I hit a tree.
“Jane, please don’t hurt me,” I said, and she growled. I knew she was going to kill me. Suddenly two black wolves came from the trees and stood in front of me, growling at Jane. It was like they were protecting me. Both of them were huger than her. It seemed like they were all arguing about something, and I was sure that something was me.
“Violet.” I looked to see Ryan and Emily running toward me.
“Ryan, Emily,” I said and ran to them. “We have to get out of here. That is Jane, and she was about to hurt me. She would have killed me if those two bigger wolves didn’t show up,” I said. I heard a growl when I was about to pull Emily’s hand to leave. I turned to see Jane coming towards me.
“Jane, stop,” Ryan said in a demanding tone. Jane’s wolf looked at him, and I could see she was angry by her facial expression. Then she looked at me, growled again, and was about to lunge

at me, but something strange happened before she could. Ryan shifted into a giant black wolf with white fur around his eyes. and ears.
Jane’s wolf seemed angrier and lunged at Ryan, but he quickly bit into her neck, causing her to fall to the ground and turn back into her human self naked. Ryan turned back into a human as well and was also naked. He looked at the two black wolves.
“That her to a cell,” he said, and the two black wolves turned into two muscular naked men and went to get Jane. I looked at Jane and noticed the blood that I was sure was coming from her neck. There was no way she could live after losing all that blood, and I was sure she was dead.
I looked at Ryan, who was coming toward me. I began to breathe quickly, and everything began to spin. I could see Ryan running toward me with a worried look on his face.
“Violet,” was what I heard Ryan say before darkness consumed

Ryan’s POV
“Hey, sis,” I said as I walked up to our floor.
“Hey, If you are looking for V, she went to our parent’s floor to get Sof,” Emily said
“She isn’t there. I was talking to dad up there and didn’t see her. I would have past her when I left,” I said.
“Has anyone seen Violet,” I asked the Pack through mind-link.

After Carter told me everyone was talking about how I rejected Violet, I set everyone straight.
I let everyone know that I accepted Violet as my Mate and that if I heard anyone disrespecting their future Luna in any way, they would be punished. I also told everyone not to tell her because I needed to tell her about Werewolves and Mates.
Everyone seemed to be happy when I told them the news. Some even told me they were happy I didn’t make Jane my chosen Mate. Apparently, not many like Jane had been rude to most of the lower-rank wolves and talked down to everyone. I asked why they never told me, and they said they were worried about being punished since I was in a relationship with her and she was going to be the future Luna.
I felt st**d not seeing how cruel Jane was. I was too focused on f***ng her that I was blind to who she really was. Thank the Goddess, I have my Mate now. My parents were right when they said once you find your Mate, all sexual attraction I felt from anyone else woudl disappear. All I feel is disgusted with myself for f****ing anyone else.
“I saw her go into the woods with Jane,” A Pack Member linked back.
“What, why didn’t you tell me this before?’ I asked worriedly through the link. Emily and I were running toward the woods.
“Your Mate and Jane are friends. I thought they were hanging out.”
“In the woods. Carter, I need you and Jasper to head to the woods,” I said

As we ran, I could smell my Mate’s sweet strawberry and vanilla scent. When I spotted Violet, she ran toward Emily and me. Carter and Jasper were arguing with Jane in wolf form for her to leave Violet alone and how she was their future Luna.
“Jane, stop,” I commanded in my Alpha tone. Since I was a soon-to-be Alpha, I could order my Pack Members to do as I said. Jane didn’t like how I stood protectively in front of Violet and was about to lunge at her, so I quickly shifted into my giant black wolf. Jane lunged at me, and I quickly bit into her neck. The pain caused her to shift back into her human form.
After telling Carter and Jasper to take Jane to a cell,” I said after shifting back into my human form. I could hear Violet’s heart racing and her breathing quickening. I knew she was shocked by what she saw. I ran to her and caught her before she hit her head from passing out.
‘I walked with Violet to the Pack Hospital and told Sandra, the Pack Doctor, I was on my way and what had happened. I placed her on the bed in one of the Pack rooms. My father walked in with some clothes for me to change into, and I quickly put them on in the Bathroom attached to the room. Then I sat by my Mate while Sandra checked over Violet.
“Is she going to be okay?” I asked
“Yes, your Mate will be fine. She was shocked by what she saw. She should wake up soon. I will give you some privacy,” Sandra said and walked out of the room.
I looked at my Mate while holding her hand. Emily and my parents were in the room with me, waiting for her to wake up. I

was worried about how I was going to explain all of this to her about werewolves. I should have told her everything before letting her stay in a Packhouse full of wolves. I should have known I wouldn’t be able to hide this from her for long. I only hoped she would accept me once I told her everything.
