Ryan pursed her lips. He grabbed the greens that Xena had picked and headed off to stir–fry them.
Nena looked at Janie with envy. “Janie. Mr. Moore, your meals look amazing!”
Jackson smiled proudly. “Oh, it’s nothing special. I’ve put a lot of effort into cooking for Janie. My skills may not be top–notch yet, but they’re
definitely chef–level
Jane just ate quietly.
Xena and the others were taken aback by how Jackson beastful was.
He went on. “Ryan spoils you so much, he must cook for you every day. So there’s no need to be so jealous”
Ryan silently clenched his teeth and quickened his pace.
Nena replied reluctantly. “We have chefs at home; my brothers don’t cook much, but they treat me well”
Jackson shook his head. “We had a chef too, but we wanted Janie to enjoy food made by her loved ones. Looks like your brothers don’t care about you as much”
He pretended to be innocent. “Oops. I’m just being straightforward. Don’t take it seriously”

Unable to hold back any longer, Xena said, “Janie, you’re really lucky. Is it too much trouble for Mr. Moore and the others? I can’t expect my brother to cook for me all the time”
