Wilson got a divorce, he would definitelymarry Yvonne, who would bring more shame to the Farrells. There was no way Leena would allow that! Hence, she did everything she could to stop him, and she managed to do it in time.
Wilson’s phone rang non–stop, and it was Daphne calling him to mge him to go to the courthouse When Leena noticed he was about to answer the call, she hurriedly snatched the phone away.
“Don’t answer it, and don’t even think about going! Stay with me today. If you dare to strp way from me, I’l jump out the window!” Leena yelled without holding back while pointing at the window.
Wilson was confused and frustrated at the same time. “What are you doing, Mort? Don’t you hate Daphne as well? After all, you’ve never liked her throughout the years of our marriage. Now that she has finally agreed to the divorce, why are you changing your mind again?”
“When I told you not to marry her back then, you insisted on doing the opposite. Did she really think that the Farrells would care about the pathetic wedding gifts she prepared? Every woman I introduced to you was wealthy, but you kept pampering Daphne like she was the only woman in the world.
“You even fought me and your dad because of her, saying that you wouldn’t marry anyone else but her. When I picked on her, you would always tell me to go easy on her and even almost kneeled for her one time! After everything you’ve gone through, I really don’t know why you have to get a divorce now.”
Wilson’s head was aching, and he frowned while rubbing his nose bridge. “Why would you bring up something from that long ago? I was young back then and didn’t know better. I thought that she was my soulmate. Now, I can see the truth, and I’m choosing someone better. Can’t I regret my choices now?”
“What do you mean by someone better? Are you referring to that vixen from last time? Haven’t you had enough fun yet?”
“Mom, please don’t say that about Yvonne. She’s a kind and innocent woman.”
Lea became mad when she heard Wilson talking about Yvonne, especially when he praised Yvonne like that.
“I’m telling you. As long as I’m alive, you can forget about marrying her! Now, Daphne’s the only daughter–in–law I have, and you’re not going anywhere else today. Just stay here until the courthouse is closed for the day!”
“Can you stop being so unreasonable, Mom?” Wilson got up in frustration and reached his hand out. “Return my phone to me. If there’s nothing else, I’m leaving ” “Don’t you dare! If you step out of this ward today, I’ll make sure you don’t have a mother anymore!”
Leena had been all over the world throughout the years and had seen people from all walks of life. That was why she immediately knew Yvonne wasn’t that innocent at first sight. So, when she heard Wilson praising Wonne, she rolled her eyes.

Although Daphne didn’t come from a great family, she had a great personality. If Leena had to choose between Yvonne and Daphne, she would definitely choose Daphne to be her daughter–in–law. Leena also never thought she would stand on Daphne’s side one day, and that slap from the other day probably opened her eyes.
Wilson knew how capable Leena was, and she would definitely keep her word. So, he kicked the ward’s door as hard as he could.
“Tine! You might be able to stop me this time, but do you think it work again in the future? What’s the point of doing this? I’ll definitely get a divorce eventually.”
“I don’t care. You’re just going to have to stay here today!”
Lema forced Wilson to be in the ward for the whole day and even confiscated his phone. She knew she wouldn’t be able to stop him in the end, but she would still try to buy as much time as possible. Letna hoped that this dumb son of hers could sober up within the next month and leave Yvonne for good.
When Wilson was finally allowed to leave, it was almost 9:00 pm. Upon returning to his villa, he tiredly threw himself on the couch. His phone was filled with missed calls from Daphine, but he didn’t want to explain himself.
The maid, Belinda Fyrr, had always treated Daphine well in the past. When she saw what was happening, she couldn’t take it anymore and asked, “Mr. Farrell… Is Ms. Smith really that great? I think you should give Mrs Farrell another chance.”
Berlinda knew how great Wilson’s relationship with Daphne was in the past. So, she thought it was a great shame with how everything had turned out.

Wilson’s paze darkened. He looked sharply at Belinda and said coldly, “I don’t love her anymore, so why should I give her another chance? Also, Yvonne’s a great person. want to hear you saying something so stupid ever again unless you want to join Daphne.”
