Chapter 15
Samuel tightened his grip on me. “But you’ve changed. Now, you let yourself be humiliated in
front of me. This suits my taste. But you can’t continue like this. Though I could close an eye the
first two times, I won’t keep doing it.”
He stroked my lips and had a weird expression on his face. At the same time, he swallowed hard
“Struggling to put on your jeans? I’ll help you put them on!” Pulling me closer, Samuel reached
over to my jeans and buttoned them.
I didn’t button my jeans because my fingers were trembling and my right wrist hurt badly.
Ignoring the blood on his shoulder, Samuel looked at my waist, his eyes glinting. I pushed him, but I couldn’t get him to budge.
He was crazy.
Yes, someone who found joy in abusing others couldn’t possibly be a normal person.
“Your skin is so soft and smooth. As expected, you’re from a wealthy family.” He ignored my
protests as he continued to button my jeans.
“Samuel, what are you doing? Are you bullying Jules again? Didn’t I ask you to apologize to her?”
Yvette called out from a distance.
At that moment, Samuel’s hands were still in my jeans. Yet once he heard Yvette’s voice, he
tensed and hurriedly pulled his hands out of my jeans with an unhappy frown on his face
I didn’t know if he was unhappy because Yvette had noticed his true colors.
Unexpectedly, Samuel brought her with him. However, Yvette arrived at the right time because I had failed to push him awa
Samuel pulled me up and walked toward Yvette. Once he approached her, he let go of my hand and quickly supported her.
“Why did you get out of the car? Your leg hasn’t healed!”
Yvette looked at Samuel disapprovingly. “If I hadn’t gotten out of the car, would you have
continued to bully Jules? Stop kicking up a fuss. Didn’t you leave her in the car previously? That’s why she wrecked your car.”
Samuel frowned in response.
After that, Yvette continued, “I know that it’s your favorite car. But no car is more important than her life. You can’t bully Jules just because of this incident.”
I stood at the side, listening to Yvette while she admonished Samuel.

Although Samuel did whatever he wanted to me all the time, he remained silent whenever Yvette.
was next to him.
“Jules, don’t be angry with Samuel, alright?” Yvette grabbed my arm. “I think Sam likes you.”
In my previous life, she often told me that Samuel seemed to like me. That was an interesting
phrase. The way he liked me was like how he treated a pet.
In my previous life, I was concerned about losing Samuel because I often heard Yvette say that he
liked me. I also knew that I relied on him greatly because I was blind.
Since everyone knew that, they manipulated me back then.
Before Samuel could reply, I said, “Don’t worry, Ms. Stone. He doesn’t like me. Instead, he pities me like how he would an abandoned, dying dog.”
At that, Samuel’s expression turned gloomy.
