The subordinate immediately dropped to his knees. “Mr. Wenley, this is your only child! chief Wenley won’t agree.”

The subordinate looked down at the unconscious snakelet in his arms. He had no choice. He had to send him to the military academy. Otherwise, he’d end up there
All this time, Daphne had no clue her son was suffering under Helen’s training.
She only learned that Herkoen’s people had taken the snakelet away, and she felt relieved. She assumed his father wouldn’t mistreat him.
Now, she was waiting for the second snake egg hatch
After a busy morning, Lester was desperate to go home and see Daphne. It usually took him five minutes to get home, but he reduced it to three minutes. He sped up even more, arriving in two minutes.
Residents in the sky recognized the Federation’s flying car and didn’t dare complain, giving way at once.
Daphne knew he was coming back. She had gone to the kitchen to cook a few dishes from her home on Earth. She had just finished preparing them when she saw him at the door.
Lester casually took off his jacket and set it on a chair. Then, he pulled out a chair for her.
Daphne had done a lot of mental preparation, but seeing Lester’s face made her blush. This was her first real relationship, so she was nervous.
“…I made a few dishes from my hometown Please try them,” she said.
“Thank you, honey,” Lester said as he picked some up and took a bite.
Beastlin rately ate cooked food. The moment he tasted the chunk of meat she had prepared, he felt a sense of satisfaction.
“Honey, this is really good.”
Daphine never thought the usually stone–faced Lester would start addressing her as “honey” in almost every sentence.
“You can call me by my name,” she offered.
Realizing the might not like being called “honey,” Lester hesitated, “How about I call you Daph instead?”
“Okay,” she agreed. Then, she regretted it immediately.
It seemed normal in this world for someone to call the person they liked “honey,” and she felt she was just being outdated.
They said nothing else for a while. Lester was worried he had made her unhappy, so he tried putting several pieces of food on her plate. She looked at him in surprise.
He though she was shocked because he hadn’t fed her by hand.
Then, he remembered some tips he had seen online on low to get closer to your partner. One of them was feeding them
So, he moved to sit beside her saying, “Daph, open your mouth.”
Daphne stated at the piece of food he held up. She was beyond surprised. Was this really the same Lester she knew from before?
Before they started dating, he was a cold and distant heartthrob. Now, he was more like a clingy boyfriend.
Sharing this meal made her feel like she was discovering a whole new side of him.
After they finished eating, there was still some time before Lester had to retums to the Federation. He stayed with Daphne to watch a show.
The room was filled only with the dialogue from the leads onscreen
It was the show Daphne had discovered yesterday. She was already five episodes in. It didn’t have anything too explicit, just an occasional kiss. She felt it was sate
to watch with him around.
While she was fully absorbed in the plot, the female lead suddenly invited the male lead to stay over. She became just as forward as Daphne had been last night
Dapline did semember bits and pieces of last night. She knew she had taken the initiative and said a few things that were quite bold.
11 felt like the drama on screen captured exactly what had happened to thwnt:
“Honey, your waist is so alim.”
All at once, she remembered how Lester had gripped her waist last night to keep her from struggling
