Noelle looked at Gordon and said, “Know your place, Gordon. You’re just a butler. You don’t
tell me what to do.”
Gordon was slightly angered. “Ms. Liddell, I may be just a butler, but I still have the right to speak the truth!”
“Oh? And why should I listen to you?”
When Noelle returned to the Liddell family that time around, she had already run out of patience. Back then, she believed everything would be fine if she remained indifferent to or ignored things.
But some people, like Gordon, never knew when to stop.
The other housekeepers notified Frank that something had happened upstairs. He rushed to Noelle’s room and saw the food spilled on the floor. “What happened, Noelle? Is the food not to your liking?”
Gordon seemed on the verge of tears as he complained, “Mr. Frank, I was just kindly advising Ms. Liddell not to eat alone in her bedroom as it might cause rumors to spread.
“Not only did she slap the tray off my hands and spill the food, but she also said that I have no rights as a butler to reprimand her.”
Frank frowned and replied, “Gordon, you, in fact, don’t have the right to reprimand her.”
Gordon was shocked as he had never expected Frank to side with Noelle.
Xenia immediately stepped forward, stood next to Gordon, and said, “Frank, Gordon’s just trying to help. Like my dad, he’s been with the Liddell family for many years. He may just be a butler, but he’s always been loyal to us.”
Frank’s expression softened a little. “I didn’t mean it that way.”
Noelle, however, simply did not want to see any of them. “I want all of you to get out!”
Frank replied, “I’ll have someone clean up the spilled food and bring you another tray in a bit.”
He then left the room and turned to Gordon. “Show Noelle some respect, Gordon. Don’t say anything that you shouldn’t.”
Frank also just realized that a mere butler had dared to lecture Noelle. He reckoned that it was because the household staff had grown accustomed to the rest of the Liddell family’s mistreatment of Noelle and began to follow suit. He felt that he had failed Noelle as her older
brother.
Xenia stared at Frank’s retreating figure and began to panic slightly. She felt that Frank had changed, as he would have undoubtedly also sided with Gordon in the past. She knew that she

After Noelle’s outburst, the housekeepers quickly cleaned up the mess and brought over another dinner tray. And this time, no one lectured her again.
After finishing her homework, she opened WhatsApp to invite Cedric for a game together.
Noelle noticed that she had received a new friend request from none other than Lucas.
She glanced at the request and immediately clicked on the “Ignore” button, not even refusing it. She did not want to be lectured by him or listen to his condescending apologies.
Noelle sent a message to Cedric. “Want to clear some dungeons, sir?”
She then went to boot up her computer while waiting for a reply.
Noelle saw a news update that reported, “Team Celestial has invited King’s disciple to join their team, leaving Team Luminark devastated!‘
Curious, she clicked on the article for a better look.
It seemed that Magnus, the captain of Team Celestial, had publicly issued an invitation for Noelle to join their team.
Lucas, however, also publicly rejected the offer on Noelle’s behalf. “My sister will never join your team!”
Noelle was both confused and surprised by Magnus‘ invitation to join his team. She wondered if he was unaware that she was Lucas‘ younger sister.
She then received a notification that a friend was coming online. She immediately invited Cedric to her party.

SweetNelly: “Is that you,
sir?”
ReverseTime: “The fuck? My older brother’s actually playing games with a girl!”
Magnus was so shocked that he fell to the ground.
