lion reluctantly stepped forward as well. “Hello, Mr. Hastings.”
Alex straightened his wait and looked at Mr. Augustine. “Mr. Augustine, hell. I’m here to loudly Serena’s withdewal from the university as her guardian.”
Mr. Augustine was incredibly flustered when he heard that, “Withdrawal? What? No, no, there’s no need for that. It’s just a small misunderstanding. How could it come to that?” “But when I gered just now, Telearly heard this man mention expulsion,” Alex narrowed his eyes and looked at Mr. Herbs.
Mr. Herbs was startled and quickly scrambled as he said, “No, no, Mr. Hastings, you must have misheard. This whole thing is just a misunderstanding.”
Mr. Augustine and Mr. Herbs exchanged a glance. After a moment, Mr. Augustine walled forward with a smile. “This really isn’t a big deal. The university’s intention is to just clear up the misunderstandings”
He then added, “it’s really necessary, we can call the police too! As the leaders of the university, we’re just concerned about protecting Ms. Ashford’s future. It’s just that Mr. Blake confidently insisted that the situation was exactly as it appeared online. We were just momentarily fooled by him
When Julian heard that the two of them were planning on pinning all the blame on him, there was no way he could just stay silent
The Blakes were already surling under Alex’s pressuring of their businesses the offended Alex further
Julian stepped forward “Mr. Hastings, the situation isn’t as the principal described.”
Thad been completely alone just now. Yet I was now looking at those three who had been so united earlier trying to push the blame onto each other. It was a chilling sight. “Mr. Herbs insisted on not reporting the matter to the police and having my sister figure out a way to clear her own name. So, I had no choice but to gather the evidence myself,” Alex said as he pulled out his phone.
Mr. Herbs wiped the sweat from his forehead nervously. “I was only worried that Ms. Ashford’s reputation would be ruined if the police got involved and the news spread further.” Alex ignored Mr. Herbs‘ words and motioned for his assistant to come over. The assistant stepped forward and switched on a laptop, displaying the evidence that was already prepared. “Here’s proof that fallan and his friend, Elena, have been harassing Serena.
I was stunned when I looked at the evidence. It contained records of every time Julian and Elena had tried to meet with me. There was also every instance of Julian seeking me out. Everything was there.
I looked at Alex in shock.
With this level of detal, could Alex have secretly had me followed? Or did he plant a tracker on me?
Alex merely raised an eyebrow slightly before motioning for me to look at the screen.
“This is the matter I came for today. The second one is to clarity the video incident,” Alex said as he crossed his legs.
The screen displayed another video. It was surveillance footage from the restaurant.
I was shocked
After watching the video, Mr. Herbs and Mr. Augustine fell silent.
Alex dolded his arms and said, “Out of consideration for the university’s reputation, we didn’t report the incident to the police. Now that we’ve met your demands by providing evidence to prove her innocence, I hope that you‘ be able to give me a satisfactory response, Mr. Augustine.”
Mr. Augustine’s panie was evident as sweat gathered on his foreliead.
He stammered, “W–Well, Mr. Herbs, you were the one who wanted to expel Ms. Ashford, You can handle this yourself.”
Mr. Herts was rendered speechless by Alex’s intimidating presence
