Shirley uttered the deadliest oath, but she scoffed inwardilly, Oaths were meaningless to her. If they held any truth, countless people would’ve died every day from the consequences.
Shirley spoke without hesitation, looking determined and sincer. She was sure that Jonathan couldn’t find any loopholes. That was why she chose to use oaths, an insubstantial thing, to pressure him.
However, Jonathan smiled. “Very well. I hope you’ll remember what you said today when the consequences befall you in the future. Then, he picked up the phone and made a call. “Contact the general manager of Cloudtop Restaurant and ask him to
come over now.”
Five minutes later, Knox Harris, the general manager of Cloudtop Restaurant, trotted in.
The crowd surrounded the place. Everyone was so captivated by the excitement that no one could bear to look away.
Despite Shirley’s outcry, her body was trembling all over, and her lavish jewelry couldn’t hide her distress.
As for Cynthia, even though she was supposed to be the most pitiful and humiliated one today, from the instant she tore her dress and cut ties, the resolve that emanated from her was undeniable.
At this moment, despite saying nothing, the poise and grace that emanated from Cynthia made the torn dress on her seem like a piece of exquisite design. There was a sense of harmony and unexpected beauty.
Knox walked to Jonathan cautiously. “Mr. Bennett, how can I help you?”
Shirley found Knox’s appearance ridiculous. She mused, Jonathan is truly good at putting on a show. Bringing Knox here won’t help, not even if the police show up. There are no surveillance cameras here, and they won’t find any evidence.‘
Jonathan said, ‘Mr. Harris, activate the Eagle Eye
Knox hesitated briefly, seemingly surprised that Jonathan knew about the Eagle Eye system. Yet, he paused before saying. “It’s against the rules. I cannot bear the consequences.”
Jonathan replied casually, “Fifty percent of Cloudtop Restaurant’s shares are owned by Bennett Group. Although I don’t participate in the management of this place, I’m also a shareholder. As the largest shareholder, I think I have the right to demand that you do so.”
Knox was surprised. Indeed, the company did have a mysterious major shareholder, but no one except the chairman and vice–chairman knew of his identity.
The major shareholder owned a large number of shares in Cloudtop Group, and the restaurant was just the tip of the iceberg. He had always been the most mysterious and legendary existence of Cloudtop Group.
Although Knox didn’t expect the mysterious man to be Jonathan, he didn’t find the news surprising. Knox immediately answered respectfully, “Tl do it right away.”
The majority of those nearby still looked utterly bewildered.
One wondered, “What is the Eagle Eye? Why haven’t I heard of it!”
“Mr. Bennett is actually the major shareholder of Cloudtop Restaurant. The Bennett Group is everywhere,” another stated.
One person explained. Tve heard of the Eagle Eye. It’s the most advanced surveillance system in the national military. Simply put, it is an all–round surveillance system without blind spots.”
They added. “General surveillance systems can only monitor limited areas, while the Eagle Eye has no time or space limits and can call up high–definition surveillance footage for anyone, anywhere, and any time!”

“Oh my god, if this place is equipped with the Eagle Eye, does that mean it recorded our every move?” a person exclaimed.
“This banquet hall is usually used to entertain state leaders or foreign guests. It’s not surprising that Eagle Eye was installed here, another person chimed in.
Shirley’s face filled with disbelief as she listened to the crowd’s chatter. She mused, ‘What the hell is an Eagle Eye? I haven’t heard of it before. I’ve checked with security. There are no cameras in this banquet hall. Why are they mentioning a surveillance system with no blind spots?”
Shirley remained in disbelief. But when images of Lilian and Cynthia were projected clearly onto the large screen in the banquet hall, she was speechless.
The conversation they had back then was revealed before the crowd.
“Lilian, I still don’t understand why you snatched Filip away with such despicable means,” Cynthia said.
“Because I’m jealous. Your relationship was out in the open, while Lhad to bury my feelings for him,” Lilian replied.
“You chose this path. You turned your back against a friend who truly cared for you, betraying the friendship. Saying this to you is now meaningless. I don’t regret being kind to you,” Cynthia stated.
“Cynthia, you’ll never get rid of me. You’ll never… Lilian muttered.
The truth and all that transpired back then was fully revealed to the crowd.
In the video, as Lilian said her final sentence, she suddenly grabbed Cynthia’s arm. Then, she deliberately leaned back, stumbled a few steps and fell down the stairs.
After that, the screen showed Lilian screaming to attract the attention of the nearby crowd, followed by her accusing Cynthia of pushing her.
With that, the footage ended and the banquet hall became silent
The Eagle Eye was indeed impressive. The projected images were 3D, making it seem as though everything was unfolding right in front of the onlookers.
At that moment, the truth was clear. Cynthia didn’t push Lilian. Rather, Lilian deliberately threw herself down the stairs to frame Cynthia
Additionally, the crowd caught on to some telltale signs of other scandals from their conversation.
“So. Ms. Sheppard was the mistress who snatched Mr. Yates away? But Ms. Cynthia Jones is so beautiful. I wonder what Ms. Sheppard did to make Mr. Yates give up such a beauty,” one commented
“Look at her huge belly. Isn’t it obvious what she did?” someone else said.
“I didn’t expect Ms. Cynthia Jones and Ms. Sheppard to be high school friends. Ms. Cynthia Jones helped her so much, but Ms. Sheppard snatched her boyfriend away from her. She’s such an ingrate, another remarked
“Ms. Cynthia Jones has always been honest and frank. Ms. Sheppard might look innocent and gentle, but she’s actually wicked,” one voiced.
Someone said, “Ms. Shirley Jones is clearly Ms. Sheppard’s accomplice. She said she witnessed the fall and even made such a deadly oath. Isn’t she afraid of bearing the consequences?”
“Not only that, she also asked the Jones family to take Ms. Sheppard as their adoptive daughter. Didn’t she do that just to disgust Ms. Cynthia Jones? No wonder Ms. Cynthia Jones tore her skirt and cut ties with the family,” another person
stated
“I didn’t expect the true daughter of the Jones family to be so heartless. I heard she was raised by a murderer in a slum. Such

The crowd began gossiping about Shirley.
Meanwhile, Justin and Selena had mixed feelings about the turn of events. They truly thought that Cynthia pushed Lilian, not knowing it was Shirley and Lilian who had conspired again her.
For the first time, Selena looked frostily at Shirley.
Everyone was taking pleasure in the Jones family’s embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Shirley froze in place, feeling dizzy. The public humiliation today was meant for Cynthia, and she was bewildered as to how it ended up affecting her instead.
