Filip seemed to guess what Cynthia was going to say. Perhaps his mother asked her to say so. However, he was eager to hear
those words.
“Lilian, go back to your room first,” Filip said.
But Lilian was reluctant to go away. “What the hell are you talking about? Why am I not allowed to be present?”
Filip grew impatient. “Be good. Go back to your room.
“Filip, you’re my husband now. Do you guys want to rekindle an old flame?” Lilian said angrily.

Seeing that Filip was enraged, Lilian softened her tone. Knowing that she couldn’t stop them this time, she quickly put on a smile. “Okay, honey, Don’t keep me and the baby waiting too long,” With that, Lilian went inside.
The backyard was in semidarkness and nearby stood a crabapple tree. The petals had all fallen off, leaving bare branches. Filip remembered it used to be beautiful. He had no idea when it had gotten ugly, just like his relationship with Cynthia.
“Cynthia, what do you want to say to me?” Filip asked, hoping she would tell him not to have the wedding with Lilian. He even wished she’d ask him to divorce Lilivan

Filip blushed at the sight of the bottle and quickly snatched it from her. “Cynthia, w–why do you have it?” he asked, looking
strange.
Judging from Filip’s expression, Cynthia confirmed that he knew about this medicine. So it wasn’t Lilian who secretly drugged him. She had no reason to do that. They already had a baby together.
“I found it in the drawer of Lilian’s dresser. Filip, why are you taking this kind of medicine?” Cynthia replied honestly. Her question made Filip extremely embarrassed.
After he got together with Lilian, he couldn’t get an erection. Even when they were in passionate love with each other abroad, he was unable to perform in bed. Therefore, he couldnt get Lilian pregnant.
However, Lilian really wanted to have kids. At that time, he was not thinking straight. He agreed with Lilian’s suggestion of doing IVF. The child in Lilian’s womb was an IVF baby.

Cynthia did what her conscience told her, even though she had broken up with Filip. Since she knew about it, she felt obligated to warn him. Whether he continued taking such medicine was his decision.
But Filip changed his drastically after hearing this. When Cynth was about to leave, Filip suddenly grabbed her arm. “What did you say? Is it a medicine to cure heart disease?”

Cynthia nodded. “I found it in Lilian’s drawer. I wondered why a pregnant woman was taking such medicine. So I asked my doctor friend to look it up. It has serious side effects. You… Don’t tell me you didn’t know about it?”
Filip’s shocked expression showed he was clueless. Cynthia was dumbfounded.
She thought, Filip doesn’t have a heart disease. Why is he taking such medicine with side effects?’ She sized Filip up and down with sympathy and curled her lips into a meaningful smile. Filip, are you alright?”
Filip was boiling with rage. Holding the bottle, he ran into the house.
Cynthia was confused. There must be a story behind it. Although she was very curious, it was late. She didn’t want to get involved in it. She had no choice but to suppress her curiosity and drive away.
Meanwhile, Filip kicked Lilian’s room door open. Lilian, come out now!
Lilian was sitting in front of the dresser. She had already noticed that the drawer had been opened and something was missing inside.

“Lilian, tell me, what is it?” Filip asked, his face dark.
Lilian still wanted to push her luck. “Filip, you know what it is, don’t you? It’s a medicine for erectile dysfunction.”

Filip suddenly realized something. He never had such a problem before, especially when he was with Cynthia. He kept suppressing his sexual needs, but he couldn’t get an erection later
He previously thought he had been suppressing it for too long, turned out to be wrong. Lilian had been drugging him. “Filip, would you rather trust Cynthia than your own wife? Come on, she is not even your ex–wife!” Lilian retorted. Looking at Lilian, Filip felt a chill run down his spine. He used to think she was weak and considerate. If she began drugging him three years before, she was truly malicious and calculating.
“Lilian, I have the bottle of medicine. I can have it tested anytime. Lying is pointless, so you better tell me the truth, Filip said.
