On the night of the king cobra attack, Jessie wasn’t present, but Preston had already told her about what happened. She was well aware of Abby’s character, so she deliberately said those things. Abby had it coming.
Meanwhile, the drone was already flying above them. “Welcome everyone to Angel Island! For the next few days, we’ll be filming here. There are no rules, no tasks–just top–notch accommodations and all the food and drink you want. Enjoy your island getaway!”
The drone paused. “Now, can you finally start

real romance?”

[Apparently, there were lots of complaints that Jason’s show didn’t seem like a dating show at all. Some even said he doesn’t know romance and a single guy like him can’t make a decent love show. Jason got frustrated and gave in to the pressure.]

Cynthia suddenly spoke, “If there aren’t
any tasks, can we go back to our rooms to sleep?”

Cynthia silently mouthed something at the drone without making a sound.

Suddenly, someone noticed something. Ethan looked around and asked, “Where’s Alex? Why isn’t he here?”
The drone flew up a bit higher and announced, “Alex has left the show due to health issues.” Everyone looked surprised.

Cynthia had already checked out the bar the night before. The image of those strikingly handsome young men, despite having no tongues, lingered in her memory. Just the thought of it sent chills down her spine.
Cynthia couldn’t shake the feeling that this island was anything but usual, and the owner was even more mysterious.

Soon after, there was a knock at the door. Cynthia’s door was slightly open, and Jess stood at the entrance, giving a symbolic knock before coming in.
“Cyn, let’s go horseback riding.” The show’s rules specified that guests couldn’t stay in their rooms for more than half an hour, except during naptime. Cynthia got up and said, “Alright, let’s have some fun.”
This place was actually a very high–end equestrian club. The professional racetrack stretched as far as the eye could see. There were also specialized tracks and grandstands. The rows of stables were remarkably luxurious, housing hundreds of purebred top–tier racehorses.
Almost everyone was there. Abby and Nina had already changed into riding outfits and boots. They looked energetic and very stylish. After breakfast, Abby shook off her previous lethargy. She approached Nina with an appealing smile, “Nina, how about we pick out a horse together?”
Nina was clearly trying to avoid her. “You go ahead, I’ll wait for Sarah and Cynthia.”
Abby could feel it, all the guests seemed to be excluding her. Even Nina, who used to be her closest friend, was now ignoring her. It was all because of Cynthia.
She noticed the drone was with a group of guys. Since they weren’t on the live stream at the moment, she began to sow discord. “Nina, you treat Cynthia like she’s your own sister, but she’s always betraying you behind your back. You know that, right?”
Nina frowned, “Don’t talk nonsense, Cynthia has been pretty nice to me.”
Nina could still tell right from wrong. Although she felt a bit jealous that Jonathan liked Cynthia, Cynthia had never done anything to hurt her. Nina wouldn’t blame Cynthia just because Jonathan rejected her.
Abby continued, “Nice to you? She knows you like Mr. Bennett, yet she’s always trying to seduce him, deliberately sabotaging your relationship with him. You better not be fooled by someone who’s two–faced like that.”
Nina still didn’t believe it. “Cynthia isn’t that kind of person.” She knew Jonathan and Cynthia had been together, but they had broken up.
Recently, Cynthia had been quite distant with Jonathan, but Jonathan seemed unable to let go, subtly sticking close to Cynthia, who always seemed a bit tired of him.
“I have proof,” Abby said, pulling a phone from her pocket. It contained a short video recording of Cynthia and Jonathan making out on the balcony. The video showed the date and time it was from last night, right on the balcony of Cynthia’s
room.
In the video, Cynthia and Jonathan were passionately kissing, totally absorbed in each other. It was clear that Cynthia was really into it and was even flirting back deliberately.
Nina watched the video in disbelief. This wasn’t the Jonathan and Cynthia she was familiar with. Especially Jonathan. He was always so aloof and indifferent. She had never seen him so passionate before. It was like he was a completely different
person.
Abby sneered, “See, there you go. Cynthia is so two–faced. In front of everyone, she acts like some untouchable saint, pretending she doesn’t even care about Mr. Bennett.

Nina’s body trembled slightly. She thought, ‘How could this be? She checked the time on the video. It was almost exactly five minutes after she confessed her feelings.
At that time, she was heartbroken, while those two were making out on the balcony. She thought, ‘But if they were so into each other, why did Mr. Bennett still go to the bar and spend time with me?
Nina’s heart felt unbearably heavy. She snatched the phone from Abby’s hand and darted towards the men’s changing room. Abby watched her leave with a smirk. A storm was definitely brewing.
This phone was something Abby found at the restaurant this morning, left on the table where she had breakfast. Not knowing whose it was, she picked it up and looked inside, only to find scandals about Jonathan and Cynthia.
She immediately realized that the show producers were trying to set up Cynthia. She quickly put the phone in her pocket. Meanwhile, Jonathan, Preston, and Ethan had just changed clothes and were coming out of the locker room.
Nina ran up to them, her cheeks burning with anger. Without saying a word, she held up the phone to Jonathan and played the video for everyone to see.
