Inside the lab, only Cherise and Crow were present. Both of them put on sterile gowns.
Crow was handling everything necessary before the experiment while Cherise placed the small box Jason had given her on the test bench.
She stared at the box for a moment and then opened it. Inside were three small tubes, each containing a pre–collected blood sample. Each tube was labeled with a name: Jason, Warren, and Rayburn.
Warren was Rayburn’s eldest son as well as Jason’s biological father. Right now, he lived in Hesperia with Jason’s mom. He was a well–known writer in the industry.
Growing up without a mother around and seeing his father marry another woman made Warren naturally reserved.
Thankfully, his marriage was rock–solid, and they decided to move to Hesperia many years ago. It had been ages since they had set foot in Clusia.
Over the years, Jason has frequently traveled back and forth, flying to Hesperia to see his parents.
“Boss, here is your blood sample,” Crow said, breaking Cherise’s train of thought.
