Nolan kept a neutral face as he followed the invitation and stepped inside.
Torin walked in right behind him.
As soon as they sat down at the dining table, Camellia turned to Torin and asked, “And who are you?”
Torin said, “I’m Mr. Graves’s assistant. There are no secrets I dont know, so I need to stay here.”
Camellia’s irritation bubbled under her calm exterior. “Mr. Graves, is that true?”
Nolan nodded. “Yes.”
Camellia pressed her lips together, pretending to be gracious. “Alright, let’s all sit and enjoy a meal.”
“Sure.” Without hesitation, Torin pulled out a chair and sat down
An awkward tension filled the air, leaving Camellia unsure of what to do.
This was her first meeting like this; in her company, assistants didn’t join her for meals.
Torin had taken it upon himself to sit, and Nolan seemed unfazed, acting like it was completely normal.
Holding back her feelings, she suggested, “Mr. Graves, should we order now?”
As she started to stand, Nolan gently pulled her back down by her arm.
The simple touch sent a thrill through Camellia; it had been years since she had shared such close contact with any man.
Countless scenarios played out in her mind like scenes from a dramatic movie.

Not paying attention to Camellia’s inner thoughts, he said, “Ms. Hawkins, we don’t need to eat. Let’s talk business instead.” Camellia nodded, trying to seem agreeable. “Oh, alright! Orlinth Innovations is very interested in working with Umberdon Enterprises.”
Nolan said, “I assume Orlinth Innovations shorted GlobalVision Group recently? Is your goal to take it over?”
Camellia wasn’t surprised by his question; after all, Umberdon Enterprises could easily look into it. “To be honest, Mr. Graves, that is true.”
Nolan thought for a moment. “In that case, I’ll be straightforward: if you succeed in taking over Orlinth Innovations, I would like to buy the GlobalVision Group office building from you, and the price will be up to you.”
This caught Camellia off guard. “Oh? You want to buy the office building. May I ask why?”
She remembered that Nolan had studied architectural design in Manesia, so he must simply appreciate the building’s style.
Nolan was clear about his intentions. “I want the building because of its designer; I can’t let her work end up with just anyone.”
At that moment, it clicked for Camellia; the designer of the GlobalVision Group office was Duskson, who was indeed Cherise.

He moved to stand protectively next to Nolan as they prepared to leave the private room.
Camellia felt like she was being played with, and she fought the urge to let her emotions show.
“Mr. Graves, I need to say one more thing!” As Nolan was about to step through the door, she called out.
Both Nolan and Torin stopped, and Nolan asked, “What is it?”
“I hope you remember that you are engaged to the Hawkins family!” Camellia’s tone was fierce.
As soon as she said this, Torin pulled Nolan away, and they quickly left the room.
Just as the door closed behind them, Camellia flipped over the wine and flowers on the table, creating a mess. “Cherise! You are always around me, and I won’t hesitate to be ruthless.”
She stared ahead, fierce and unyielding.
Torin shielded Nolan as they made their way to the car.
“Hey, Torin, didn’t you say you had a stomachache? Why aren’t you going to the restroom? Why rush me to the car?” Nolan asked, noticing Torin’s urgency.
Torin glanced back at him. “I can’t stand that Camellia. There’s something eerie about her that scares me. I just couldn’t y there any longer, so I had to get you out!

Nolan looked thoughtfully toward the restaurant. “I didn’t realize Camellia Hawkins was in charge of Orlinth Innovations.”
