Chapter 293
On the way back to Glenshire Gardens, Morris pulled Cherise onto his lap.
Leo, driving in front, did his best to ignore the scene unfolding behind him.
Feeling like they were being too intimate in front of an audience, Cherise’s face turned bright red from her neck to her ears.
“What are you doing? We’re still in the car Cherise said, motioning towards Leo in the driver’s seat.
Morris waved that off. “He hasn’t experienced this. It’s fine.”
Leo rolled his eyes in response.
Morris leaned closer to Cherise and took a deep breath. “You smell great!”
“Could you be a little more serious?” Cherise said, confused by Morris’s sudden playfulness in front of Leo.
Morris chuckled softly. “Chierise, in your opinion, who is more attractive, Nolan or me?”
Cherise pressed her lips together, even though Morris seemed mature and calm, his jealousy showed a childlike side.
In a soothing tone, she replied, “You, of course! I think you’re the most handsome.”
“Really?” Morris asked again, his expression turning a bit serious
Cherise sighed deeply and looked him in the eyes, confirming, Yes, really. The first time I saw you, I thought you were very handsome.”
When he heard this, Morris finally relaxed and rested his head on her shoulder. “Cherise, remember to tell me if GlobalVision Group needs any help.”
Cherise gently stroked his head resting on her shoulder. For now, there’s no need.”
Once they arrived at Glenshire Gardens, Morris helped Cherise out of the car, and Leo let out a big sigh of relief.
What he went through during the drive was hard to explain, and he couldn’t voice his thoughts, which weighed on him. It was getting harder for him to understand Morris.
Leo involuntarily shivered as he drove away from Glenshire Cardens.
Later that night, in a fancy apartment, Hannia finished her shower, tidied up her things, and settled in the living room to watch TV.
Suddenly, the front door clicked open, and a loud noise came from outside.
Hannia jumped up from the sofa, her adrenaline spiking as she grabbed a golf club from the corner and went toward the
door.
Outside, there was just a little noise, some rustling.
She tightened her grip on the golf–club.
Just as she was about to turn around and swing at the noise, a figure stumbled in, startling both of them so that they screamed.

“Wait, you smell like alcohol Why are you alone? What happened to Nolan?” Hannia asked.
Torin pointed outside. “He’s passed out on the ground, completely out cold. I was just about to drag him in.”
Hannia shot a disdainful glance at the doorway.
Minutes later, she and Torin managed to get Nolan onto the sof
“Goodness, he looks so skinny but feels as heavy as a bull” Hannu panted, collapsing onto the couch next to him.
Torin was also drenched in sweat, feeling like he didn’t belong with Hannia around.
Maybe Nolan would find some comfort with Hannia after all.
“Hannia, I’ll be leaving now. Please look after Nolan; he likes to stay clean, and if he wakes up without a bath, he can be really cranky Goodbye!” Without waiting for Hannia’s answer, Torin hurried out the door.
Hannia responded, “Hey, where are you rushing off to? I never said I wouldn’t help you!”
Hannia lightly slapped Nolan on the arm. “Wake up! I can’t move you by myself. Get up and wash up; I really don’t want to deal with your bad mood in the morning.”
Nolan showed no signs of waking up.
Hannia examined him closely, “Hmm, he’s not bad–looking. Although he’s not as elegant as Morris, I’d still give him a solid nine out of ten.
After saying this, she noticed Nolan’s head drooping dangerously, almost slipping off the couch, and stood up to support him.
But just as she bent down, Nolan grabbed her, and they both fell to the floor together.
Nolan was underneath, with Hannia on top.
Nolan groggily opened his eyes.
Hannia let out a scream and tried to escape, but his hands held onto her face.
Nolan mumbled, “Cherise, I really care for you.”
Hannia’s eyes widened. “Wait, you like Cherise? Don’t you know her boyfriend is Morris? I admire your courage and you do have good taste!”
Nolan kept holding her, squinting a bit. “No, you’re not Cherise. Cherise’s face isn’t this big. Your proportions are all wrong.” Hannia panicked, wriggling free and standing up.
She quickly grabbed a blanket from the room and threw it over him. “You’re the one who has a big face! And you’re heavy! Sleep on the floor for the night yourself?”
