On the other end of the line, Rayburn said, “Hey, Cherise, do you have some time today? I’m heading back to Hamolica tomorrow and thought we could grab a meal and play some chess.”
Cherise had planned to have dinner with Morris at Chivers Group after class, but upon hearing, Rayburn was leaving for Hamolica the next day, she sweetly replied, “Sure”
Rayburn seemed quite happy to hear that Cherise was free. “Great, then let’s meet at that Gourmet Bistro. See you there!”

Noticing Rayburn didn’t seem genuinely happy today, Cherise paused. “Rayburn, why are you going back to Hamolica so soon? It won’t be easy to meet you next time. How about another game?”
Rayburn chuckled softly, “Well, yes, some things are done, so I have to go back. In the future, if you ever come to Hamolica, you absolutely have to visit me! Come on, let’s play another round. I’m old. Perhaps I won’t get another chance.”
