Cherise had no clue Yulia had gotten interested in her.
It was Saturday today, so Cherise didn’t have to go to Betrico University for lectures.

Morris said to the video call, “Let’s have a break,” and gestured for Cherise to come in.
Cherise smiled, walking in with a sweet smile.
Before Cherise got closer, Morris suddenly yanked her onto his lap with one swift motion.
Cherise’s face instantly turned bright red and hot.
Morris looked at Cherise’s instantly flushed face and teased, “Cherise, don’t be shy.”
At the moment, Cherise was unable to move at all.
Seeing Cherise looking dazed and speechless, Morris gently asked, “What’s the matter? Did you come to see me because you missed me?”

Jason was driving. Being from Hamolica, he knew the routes well and got them to the hotel in under three hours.
The nursing home was closed for maintenance every Saturday, so the group just had dinner and then went back to their
own rooms.

After that, she added with a sweet smile, “I want to eat the beef stew that Marie makes!”
Morris chuckled fondly and said, “You little foodie, I’ll take you to have it when you’re back.”
Just like that, they chatted for two hours.
After they hung up the phone, Cherise’s doorbell rang.
She looked up, wondering who could be visiting at this hour.
