Chapter 207: Anya slaps a celebrity 

What was this adult sized baby doing now? Could she not see that she was disturbing the work flow? She was not sure why she had to see this. Anya wondered where her baby sitter… no, her manager, Annie was, 

But Jasmine was severely angered. Never had she not gotten her way before. Suddenly, Jasmine’s gaze landed on Anya, and her expression twisted into a venomous glare. 

“And you,” she hissed, advancing towards Anya. “You think you’re so clever, don’t you? Acting as though I don’t exist and make me look as though I am crazy. You think I do not see through your character? If you were such a good person, you would not have tried over again to destroy Kelsey’s life.” 

Anya’s eyes widened in shock as the pieces fell into place. “Kelsey? What does she have to do with this? Don’t tell me, you have been acting out because you feel sorry for Kelsey. Is this what she told you to do?” Anya felt like laughing. Was this girl a child? 

“Don’t play dumb with me!” Jasmine spat, her hand raised as if to strike Anya. “You tried to ruin your cousin’s life, and now you’re doing the same thing. You can dream. You are leaving this crew whether you like it or not!” 

“Is that so?” Anya said and turned to leave. Seeing that she was leaving again, Jasmine walked over and grabbed her back. 

The crew were already on alert at this point. 

“Don’t walk away when I am talking to you!” Jasmine basically screamed. 

“You need to calm down,” Anya said, but her words only made Jasmine’s anger shoot to her 

head. 

She raised her hand to throw a slap. 

Anya caught her hand easily and reciprocated. No one had any time to react when Anya’s hand connected with Jasmine’s face. 

The set was noisy, but the slap still found a way to resound quite a bit. 

Jasmine was shocked stiff. By the time she looked up, blood was dripping from somewhere. 

For a moment, no one moved. They could not believe what had just happened. Then, Jasmine let out a anguished cry, her hand flying to her nose as blood began to trickle down her chin. 

“My nose!” she wailed, her voice shrill and panicked. “You broke 

my 

nose!” 

Chaos erupted on the set as a crowd gathered around the injured actress. Jasmine’s manager, Annie, rushed to her side, her expression a mix of horror and concern. 

“Jasmine, what happened?” she cried, gently examining the actress’s face, 

Chapter 2017 Anya slaps a celebrity 

The others wanted to scream at her manager. Now you come to take care of your adult child. 

Jasmine’s eyes were wild with fury as she pointed a trembling finger at Anya. “That bitch slapped me! She broke my nose!” 

Annie’s gaze snapped to Anya, her face pale with shock. “Anya, what on earth…” 

“You better have her checked; Mentally, I mean. It may not look it, but I have a temper,” Anya 

said. 

But before Annie could respond, the sound of sirens pierced the air, and an ambulance came barreling onto the set. Paramedics quickly rushed to Jasmine’s aid, gently guiding her into the 

vehicle as she continued to sob and wail. 

Anya on the other hand turned and walked away. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes at her cries. So dramatic. It was just a bleeding nose. She really did not have a good temper. At first she was worried about the backlash. But suddenly, Daniel’s face flashed in her head and she 

relaxed. 

Since her husband was the boss, why do she need to be overly cautious of her actions? But looking at the chaos, she suddenly thought of an advantage. 

As the ambulance sped away, the rest of the crew stood in stunned silence, unsure of how to react. Jimmy approached Anya, his expression a mix of concern and confusion. 

“Anya, what happened?” he asked, his voice low and gentle. 

Anya shook her head, and shrugged, “She tried to slap me and I reacted.” 

Jimmy nodded slowly. He was not sure how high up Anya was, but he had to deal with this. 

“I see. Well, I think it’s best if you take the rest of the day off, Anya. We’ll need to figure out how to move forward from here.” 

Anya nodded, she looked really tired. As she made her way off the set, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread. She knew that this incident was going to have far–reaching consequences, both for her and for the project as a whole. 

In the back of the ambulance, Jasmine cradled her injured mouth, her eyes narrowed with fury. She had underestimated Anya, and now she was paying the price. But she wasn’t about to let this go; not by a long shot. 

“Annie,” she hissed through gritted teeth, “Call that company. Tell them that Anya Jones is going to pay for this, I want her fired, and I want it done now.” 

Annie hesitated, her brow creased with concern. They could not even get her out of the crew, could they even get her fired? 

“Jasmine, I’m not sure that’s the best course of action. We may need to…”

“I don’t care!” Jasmine snapped, her voice laced with pain and anger. “Just do it, Annie. I won’t rest until that woman is buried for good. You are my manager. You should be on my side. When I say I want to bury someone, you should be buying a shovel!” 

Annie knew that she had no choice but to comply. She too was angry. Her artist had been struck while she was on set. She could already see how the agency would react to this. With a heavy sigh, she pulled out her phone and began to dial the number for the Shaw Group’s Human Resources. She started considering preparing for her retirement. This artist was going to make her die early. 

The fallout from the incident on the set was immediate and far–reaching. 

News of the altercation between Jasmine and Anya spread like wildfire, with gossip was flying around like an vengeful ghost. 

The crew members were divided, some praised Anya for connecting the slap well, While others condemned Anya for not slapping the other cheek to help the actress‘ face be more symmetric. 

Some even said that Anya’s second slap would have help correct the actress‘ now crooked nose. 

Meanwhile, Jasmine’s manager, Annie, was locked in a tense negotiation with the Shaw Group’s HR, Mrs Daniels. 

Jasmine was adamant that Anya be fired, but the Shaw Group representatives were unwilling to cave to such demands. 

Mrs Daniels was already reaching for her desk to take a pill to calm down. What was happening? When she heard Jasmine’s manager’s demands, she sighed. Did they think it was easy to fire her? She answered mechanically, 

“Ms. Jones is a valued member of our team, and we have no grounds to terminate her employment,” the Head of HR stated firmly. “This was clearly a case of provocation, and we will not punish our employee for defending herself.” provocation? Mrs Daniels thought it was possible she knew Anya and she knew that the woman did not have to be cautious of anyone. She had also asked around for the problem between Anya and Jasmine. It was clear that Anya may have been pushed to the wall. 

Annie grimaced, this was not the response she wanted to hear. Who was Anya that they did not dare touch her? 

“But surely you understand the position we’re in. Jasmine is our company’s artist and she was struck on your set. Yet you refuse to do anything to the person who did it. We are going to have to take legal action,” Annie said 

Mr Daniels’s expression hardened when she heard this. She did not like being threatened. Sure. Go ahead. She wanted to see how they were going to threaten Shaw group. She wanted to see how they were going to fight the Shaw Family.
