Nicholas had long since noticed that Sebastian treated Rosarma differently. Sebastian was not someone who acted casually. Everyone around him–especially women who were intimate with him was always under his control. He would never just pick someone at random.
But Sebastian had grown up in a very particular environment. He had never experienced love and didn’t know how to give it. He probably hadn’t even realized how special Roxanne was to him back then. And by the time he did, it was already too late. Roxanne had already given up.
Nicholas gave Sebastian a meaningful look. “Sebastian, women are meant to be loved, to be cherished. You have to let her feel your love, she gave you a love that was passionate, pure, and unwavering. And what did you give her in return? Anyone would get tired, especially after seven years”
Honestly, he admired Roxanne. To stick with someone as cold as Sebastian for seven years–that had to be real love. As for her sudden decision to give up? It wasn’t sudden at all. It was the weight of every disappointment and heartbreak from the past seven years piling up.
Nicholas left after that. After all, this was between Sebastian and Roxanne. He was just an onlooker. Still, he truly felt for the way Sebastian was raised–the childhood he never had.
He hoped someone could love Sebastian sincerely, purely, and wholeheartedly. He also hoped Sebastian wouldn’t lose that person.
Nicholas stepped out and closed the ward door behind him.
Sebastian stared at that door, his handsome face calm as he got lost in thought.
The next morning, Roxanne slept in until sooo M. She freshened up briefly and stretched as she got out of bed, but the moment she stepped out of her room, she froze.
The massive living room was filled with boxes of all kinds, and even a line of well–dressed employees from luxury brands stood neatly in formation inside the villa. As soon as they saw her, they lowered their heads respectfully.

Roxanne nearly twisted her ankle from the shock. She had no idea what all this was about. Completely confused, she tumed to Lucy for help. “Lucy, what’s going on?”
Lucy glanced behind her. “You’d better ask Mr. Hayes yourself.”
