hapter 55 I’ll Go Back to School to Eat
Kassidy Schneider stepped off the stage and immediately spotted the man standing next to Kaitlyn Willis.
Curious, she walked over.
Before she could ask who the man was, Kaitlyn excitedly introduced him, “Kassidy, let me introduce you. This is Mr. Rhys Carter, the brand manager of Joyful Jewelry.”
As soon as Kassidy heard the name Joyful Jewelry, she instantly understood.
She quickly smiled and extended her hand to Rhys, saying, “Hello, Mr. Carter, I’m Kassidy.”
Rhys looked Kassidy up and down, exuding an aura as cold and unapproachable as the impression Joyful Jewelry’s pieces gave.
However, the more aloof he was, the more comfortable Kassidy felt.
This was exactly the style of Joyful Jewelry, and she could totally accept it.
Rhys said, “This time, we chose to collaborate with Miss Schneider. We hope Miss Schneider won’t disappoint us.”
Kassidy suppressed her excitement and said to Rhys, “Don’t worry, Mr. Carter. I’ll bring my most professional attitude.”
“I’ll confirm the contract with Miss Willis. I came here mainly to see Miss Schneider in person. As for other requirements, we’ll discuss them in detail with Miss Willis later,” Rhys said.
Kassidy understood what Rhys meant. He came to see if she was worthy of Joyful Jewelry.
Rhys’s attitude did make Kassidy a bit unhappy.
But on second thought, she let it go.
The stricter they were, the more it showed Joyful Jewelry’s rigor.
So, she didn’t feel too bad about it.

She said, “Thank you, Mr. Carter. Kaitlyn and 1 will cooperate fully.”

Hearing Kassidy’s flattering words, Rhys felt a deep disdain. Sucking up like this was really.
not smart.
Not wanting to say more, Rhys left.
Kassidy still felt a bit unhappy. As a child of the Schneider family, she rarely faced such disdain and contempt.
However, the few times she had been treated this way, it was always by Joyful Jewelry.
After Rhys left, Kassidy’s face darkened.
Seeing this, Kaitlyn quickly said, “Kassidy, mind your expressions. We just need to get what we need. Don’t think too much about anything else.”
“I know, I’m fine, I’m not angry,” Kassidy said through gritted teeth.
After speaking, she headed towards the RV.
Only in her own vehicle did she feel safe.
Kaitlyn quickly followed, trying to distract Kassidy, “By the way, I’ve asked someone to get Nixon Blake’s autograph for your sister. It should arrive soon. Cheer up!”
Kassidy glanced at Kaitlyn with amusement,
Using this to cheer her up?
But thinking about it, this was indeed the only thing worth being happy about recently.
After finishing the last scene, Kassidy didn’t let Kaitlyn drive her. She drove off herself.
She didn’t go straight back to the Schneider family but went to Grace’s school.
Grace studied here.
After parking, Kassidy sent Grace a message, “Don’t go to the school café after class. I’m at the school gate. Let’s have dinner together.”
Grace usually didn’t stay at home, especially now that she was in the senior grades.

According to her, most students had started boarding. If she didn’t board, she couldn’t participate in many activities.
Although the Schneider family didn’t want her to board, once Grace decided something, no
by one could change her mind.
So, they let her be.
Grace quickly replied, “Got it.”
While waiting for Grace, Kassidy checked her phone for nearby restaurants with good food. and some privacy.
After all, she was a big star and couldn’t be seen eating out.
If she got caught in an unflattering photo, it would become a part of her embarrassing past.
Grace soon arrived.
Kassidy said, “I booked a Japanese restaurant. Let’s go there.”
“No, I want BBQ,” Grace decisively refused.
“Grace, understand my situation. You can have BBQ with your friends or our eldest sister. I really can’t go to a BBQ place,” Kassidy patiently explained.
“Then forget it. Give me the stuff, and I’ll go back to school to eat,” Grace said.
Hearing this, Kassidy frowned.
This sister really didn’t give her any face.
But she couldn’t get mad at Grace. She could only grip the steering wheel helplessly and said, “Fine, you choose. We’ll go wherever you want.”
Grace immediately brightened up and even teased, “Kassidy, don’t be so sensitive. Lots of celebrities eat BBQ. It’s totally normal. You’re not going with a guy, so don’t worry so much.”
What else could Kassidy say?
She let Grace set the navigation, then started the car and drove to the BBQ place.

The BBQ place Grace mentioned was famous near their school and even ranked number one in Campbell City.
She had been there a few times with classmates, but recently everyone was busy with final exams, studying hard, and no one had time to go with her.
Every time she suggested going for BBQ, she was turned down.
Grace felt sad.
But going alone was out of the question.
Now that Kassidy came to have dinner with her, how could she refuse?
At the BBQ place, Grace couldn’t wait for Kassidy to park and happily got out of the car.
She had already decided what to order.
While counting, she saw a familiar figure by the window on the second floor.
Grace’s eyes lit up instantly, and she rushed inside, not even waiting for Kassidy.

Chapter 56 Grace Sounded a Bit Aggrieved
Sofia Schneider was called out for barbecue again tonight.
Joining her were Sylvia Grant, Otis Frank, Emiliano Rogers, and Joseph Carter.
The night before, Sofia had rushed home to be with Nathaniel Hart, not even staying to eat takeout with them.
Because of this, they severely reprimanded Sofia.
Sofia was actually quite speechless about it.
She couldn’t really pull rank on them, so she had no choice but to go along.
But, hey, it’s barbecue! Sofia hadn’t had it in a long time, so she agreed readily.
However, Sofia never expected that these guys, who hadn’t been in the country for a while, would so precisely find the best barbecue place in town.
The school wasn’t in the city center or any commercial area.
In fact, it was in a very remote part of Campbell City.
Usually, people wouldn’t choose such a far–off place when picking a restaurant.
Now, Sofia understood that these folks were willing to do anything for good food.
Especially considering that this place was practically on the other side of Campbell City from the villa.
Fortunately, they hadn’t forgotten to pick her up on the way, or it would have taken Sofia forever just to get a cab there.
Sofia and Sylvia went to get the sauces, feeling quite helpless about the childish behavior of the three men.
Especially Sylvia, who couldn’t help but twitch her mouth, “I never knew they were such foodies.”
