Chapter 50 They Are Unworthy
Sofia Schneider didn’t waste time chatting with them and directly headed upstairs.
Justin Robertson was assigned a room on the second floor, which Sofia had already prepared with medical facilities.
Although it couldn’t compare to Nathaniel Hart’s room, it was sufficient for Justin’s condition.
When Sofia entered the room, she saw Justin lying on the bed, wrapped in bandages, completely still.
If it weren’t for the various data displayed on the instruments showing that Justin’s vital signs were stable, Sofia would have doubted if Justin was still alive.
She walked over and checked Justin’s indicators, feeling slightly relieved.
Otis Frank and the others were indeed reliable. Whether in the U.S. or on the plane, they had handled Justin’s situation very well.
As Sylvia Grant had said, even if Justin hadn’t been brought to Sofia, she would have been fine.
However, Sofia felt uneasy. After all, Justin had suffered because of her.
Sylvia walked over, patted Sofia’s shoulder, and said, “Don’t worry, he’ll get better soon. Besides, since we’ve chosen to follow you, we naturally have no complaints.”
Although they were responsible for different fields, those who worked for Sofia had all been through life–and–death situations with her.
This kind of bond had long made them entrust their lives to Sofia.
Sylvia said, “Don’t blame yourself. Without you, we wouldn’t be living this well now.”
Sofia smiled at Sylvia and said, “Don’t say that. You are all independent individuals, not living for me.”
She knew that over the years, besides the money and fame she brought them, the most important thing was the experiences they had shared.

Sofia cherished these relationships and was always grateful to God for giving her such lovely companions.
But she didn’t want them to see her as too important.
In fact, Sofia hoped they could all have their own lives. Even if they chose not to work for her anymore, she would gladly see them leave,
Sylvia said, “Don’t worry. You treat us well, so we’re willing to follow you. If you ever treat us badly, we wouldn’t stick around.”
Sofia felt helpless but knew Sylvia was deliberately trying to cheer her up.
Sylvia continued, “So, rich lady, pay up for this hard work.”
Sofia really wanted to roll her eyes at Sylvia.
But she held back.
She took out her phone and transferred money to Sylvia.
This money–grubber, in the end, just wanted her money!
After the transfer, Sofia checked the time and said, “I have to go back. You guys take care of Justin and notify me if anything comes up.”
“Should we let Joseph Carter and the others go back?” Sylvia asked.
Sofia thought for a moment and said, “Let them stay. They can help with Nathaniel’s surgery later.”
Sylvia nodded and then playfully poked Sofia’s arm, saying, “Are you too concerned about Mr. Hart now? I don’t think anything is more important than him.”
“What are you talking about?” Sofia frowned and looked at Sylvia displeased.
Sylvia said, “Don’t deny it. Tell me, if it weren’t for him, would you have done all this? I’ve heard from Selena Swift that you’ve started taking revenge on the Schneider family.”
“The Schneider family was part of the plan. What does that have to do with him?” Sofia glanced at Sylvia, not understanding her logic.
Sylvia blinked and said, “I don’t know. Maybe Mr. Hart gave you the courage to take on the

Schneider family.”
Sofia was speechless.
This woman was getting more and more ridiculous!
Did she need someone to give her courage?
Too lazy to argue with Sylvia, Sofia turned and walked out of the room.

Downstairs, Otis and the others saw Sofia coming down and asked, “Sofia, what do you want to eat later? We’ll order takeout.”
They hadn’t been back to the country for a long time.
Although they had hired domestic chefs in the U.S. to take care of their meals, many vegetables in the U.S. were different from those at home.
Every time they ate, they couldn’t help but sigh and miss home.
So, this time back, one of their goals was to enjoy all the delicious food they hadn’t had in
years.
But Sofia said, “You guys help yourselves. I have to go home.”
Hearing Sofia say this, Emiliano Rogers subconsciously frowned.
“Sofia, do you now consider the Hart family your home?” Emiliano asked.
When Sofia lived with the Schneider family, she never referred to it as home.
Whenever she mentioned going home, it was always to her own place.
Now, Sofia actually called going to the Hart family home, which made them uneasy.
Sofia looked at them inexplicably and said, “What’s wrong with that?”
She was living at the Hart family now.
Otis said, “Sofia, do you really plan to stay married to Mr. Hart?”
This was something they could hardly imagine.

The fact that Sofia got married was shocking enough.
They had always wondered what kind of man Sofia would marry.

But whenever they thought about it, they all concluded that no one was worthy of her.
They even considered various royal and noble families but still concluded that none were worthy.
Who would have thought that Sofia, who never had such intentions, would suddenly inform them that she was married?
And her husband was a paraplegic!
Although Nathaniel was flawless in every other way and was once the top man before his accident, he was now paralyzed.
While they believed in equality, Sofia marrying such a man still made them uncomfortable.
Fortunately, Sofia was naturally indifferent.
Even if she had to marry Nathaniel, she wouldn’t develop real feelings for him.
That’s what they always thought.
But now, seeing Sofia, they suddenly realized it wasn’t the case at all.
Sofia’s concern for Nathaniel was evident.
