Chapter 39 You’ve Changed
Sofia Schneider finished her bread and wiped the corners of her mouth with a napkin.
She looked at Charley Hart and said, “Everyone has the right to choose what they like and dislike.”
After saying that, Sofia stood up, ready to go back to her room to check on the situation in America,
Charley, feeling humiliated, jumped up and blocked Sofia’s way, rudely saying, “Hey, do you know that you and my brother are not meant to be together in this life? And you, even have no right to be my sister–in–law at all!”
Sofia wasn’t angry at all. She just looked at this spoiled young lady with a half–smile.
She said, “You don’t need to tell me that. But you should be clear about one thing: right now, I am still your brother’s wife. So, if you don’t want to be seen as ill–mannered, you’d better treat me with more respect.”

After saying that, Sofia pushed Charley aside and strode out of the dining room.
Charley was so angry she was practically hopping mad, her face full of indignation.
Gregory came out of the kitchen and saw Charley in such a state.
He patted Charley’s shoulder helplessly and said earnestly, “Charley, don’t be prejudiced against Madam. She’s a good person. If you get to know her, you’ll see that she and Nathaniel are well–matched.”
“Gregory, how can you say that?” Charley looked at Gregory angrily, feeling very dissatisfied with his support for Sofia.
Gregory smiled and said, “Charley, you can see that the old master likes Sofia very much. Besides, Sofia has been in the Hart family for some time now. Have you ever heard Nathaniel complain about her?”
“But my brother can’t move,” Charley said discontentedly.
She was sure that if her Nathaniel were still the same as before, a normal person, Sofia would have been thrown out of the Hart family by now.

Gregory said, “Then Charley, think about it. Why can’t Miss Austin enter our Hart family?”
“Isn’t it because I told you not to let her in?” Charley said, raising her chin as if it were only natural.
Gregory said, “Alright, Charley, listen to me.”
“You don’t have to like Sofia right away, but you need to konw that how far Nathaniel and Sofia will go is their businèss. It’s not about whether others think they are a good match. What’s important is their hearts. You don’t want to make Nathaniel unhappy because of your misunderstanding, do you?”
“I get it now. You’re just speaking up for that woman and even bringing Nathaniel into it. Gregory, you’ve changed,” Charley muttered discontentedly.
She sat back down at the dining table, angrily biting into her dumplings, but they didn’t taste good anymore.
Gregory looked helplessly at Charley’s aggrieved expression but didn’t say anything more,
He just instinctively felt that Sofia was not someone to be trifled with.
Charley hadn’t provoked her yet; otherwise, it might be Charley who would suffer.
After returning to her room, Sofia took out her phone and started checking various information.
Since Sylvia Grant hung up the phone last night, there had been no news.
Fortunately, Welles and Justin Robertson’s messages were still coming through.
Welles was fine, being a native American and from a noble family. So the various forces in America wouldn’t dare to do anything serious to him.
If they couldn’t completely eradicate the Welles family, they would face ruthless retaliation from the Welles family.
Not everyone could bear that.
So, although Welles had some minor injuries on his face, they weren’t serious.
But Justin was in a terrible state.

face was as beaten black and blue, his clothes torn to shreds, blood gushing out, and his
face was so disfigured that his was barely hanging on to life.
They knew very well that it was impossible to get any information out of Welles.
So, they pinned all their hopes on Justin.
However, anyone who worked for Sofia adhered to one principle.
That is, even if it meant death, they would never reveal what they shouldn’t.
Seeing Justin’s miserable state, Sofia’s anger surged.
She wished she could fly to America immediately and deliver a fatal blow to those people.
However, she couldn’t take action right now.
But Sofia wasn’t the type to hide behind her partners. Although she couldn’t personally deal with them, doing something remotely was quite easy.
Sofia quickly pulled up information on those people.
What she found was alarming.
It was a massive force in America planning a terrorist attack on the U.S. Congress.
Sofia’s investigation revealed their entire plan.
She laughed at the detailed information on the screen.
These people were truly fearless.
They were planning to blow up the U.S. Capitol, and they had chosen a critical time when an important meeting was to be held.
If their plan succeeded, almost all of America’s top officials would perish in the Capitol.
The weapons they chose had the power to destroy an entire city.
However, Sofia had no sympathy for the American officials.
She knew one thing for sure: if she didn’t rescue Justin and Welles quickly, Justin would

As for Welles, Sofia now understood that they weren’t just afraid of the Welles family’s
power.
They wanted to support their own people to rise to power after destroying the Capitol, and they needed a powerful family to back them.
The Welles family was the perfect choice.
Sofia sneered. They were truly ambitious.
But what should she do?
Should she inform the American leader in advance?
After thinking for half a minute, Sofia sent the information directly to the American leader, Mr. Smith.
She didn’t waste any words and directly stated her demand: Mr. Smith had to rescue Welles. and Justin, and she would give him a way to defend against the attack.
Sofia was sure Mr. Smith would agree.
Because, with the national power of the United States, trying to counter this attack would only result in mutual destruction.
And their casualties would be even more severe.
The method she could provide would be silent, without alerting the enemy, and could wipe them out in one fell swoop.
