Chapter 210 Well Done
Old Mr. Hart instantly figured out what was going on. He shot Nathaniel Hart a look but said, “Well done!”
Nathaniel chuckled and looked at his grandfather, saying, “Grandpa, if Sofia Schneider hears what you said, she’ll be mad at you too.”
Old Mr. Hart shook his head and replied, “Nope. Sofia will just blame you.”
Nathaniel “”
…
He looked at his grandfather with a grin and said, “Grandpa, if Sofia blames me, I might get kicked out of the bedroom. Are you still okay with that?”
Old Mr. Hart’s smile suddenly froze.
If Nathaniel got kicked out of the bedroom that meant his dream of holding a great–grandchild would be delayed

He shot Nathaniel another look and said, “Then why are you standing here? Go apologize to Sofia!”
He really didn’t understand how he, such a clever man, ended up with such a stupid grandson!
How could Nathaniel upset his wife and not know he should make it up to her?
Nathaniel rubbed his nose, wanting to explain that Sofia was flat–out ignoring him. It wasn’t going to be easy to make things right.
But in front of his grandpa, he wasn’t about to let his pride as a man take a hit.
He started heading upstairs, but before he even reached the stairs, he heard Old Mr. Hart muttering to Pumpkin, “Don’t be like your dad. He’s way too dense.”
The old man’s voice was full of disappointment
And as if Pumpkin understood, the little dog let out another series of whimpers, perfectly in sync with Old Mr. Hart’s words.

Chapter 210 Well Done
Once Sofia got to her room, she wasted no time unbuttoning her shirt.
In this heat, she felt like she was going to suffocate.

But as soon as she opened her shirt, she could see the marks on her neck in the mirror.
Annoyed all over again, Sofia grumbled to herself.
Sure enough, once Nathaniel started, there was no stopping him.
The worst part was, she hadn’t been able to resist.
With a heavy sigh, Sofia gave up and reached for her foundation, trying to cover up evidence.

When Nathaniel came in, he saw her standing in front of the mirror, dabbing makeup on her neck with a makeup sponge.
He walked over and stood behind her, his eyes darkening a little.
For a brief moment, even Nathaniel felt like he was being a bit of a pervert. He was already thinking about… trying the “bathroom fun“.
Sofia had been trying to ignore him, pretending he wasn’t even there.
But soon, she noticed the change in his expression. She stopped what she was doing and glared at him through the mirror, as if daring him to try anything. If he did, she’d really fight him this time.
Seeing her stop, Nathaniel took the sponge from her hand and, copying her movements, started dabbing the makeup on her neck.
“Don’t be mad anymore. I’ll be more careful next time, okay?” he said.
Sofia gave him a sarcastic laugh. If she believed him on this, she’d be the biggest fool on earth.
When she didn’t respond, Nathaniel added, “I promise, next time I’ll make sure the marks aren’t somewhere visible, okay?”
Sofia snatched the sponge back from him, let out a small huff, and said, “I’m going to punish you. No more touching me.”

She needed to set some ground rules with Nathaniel. If she didn’t, her life would be nothing but trouble,
Nathaniel raised an eyebrow at that but didn’t say anything.
Of course, he didn’t take her words seriously,
Sofia knew exactly what that look on his face meant. He was already plotting something.
Frowning, she decided not to waste her breath arguing. She didn’t believe for a second that he’d actually force her if she refused,
Finally, after covering all the visible marks, Sofia felt presentable enough to go downstairs.
She couldn’t hide in the room all day with Old Mr. Hart around. After changing her clothes, she headed down,
To her surprise, Charley Hart was there too.
When Charley saw her coming down the stairs, a look of discomfort briefly flashed across her face.
Sofia found this amusing. She figured Charley had something she wanted to say.
But instead of rushing the conversation, Sofia waited for Charley to speak first.
Charley fidgeted and tugged on Old Mr. Hart’s sleeve, giving him pleading looks.
Old Mr. Hart completely ignored her, too busy holding Pumpkin in his arms.
Charley looked frustrated. Was she really less important to Grandpa than a dog now?
Sofia found this even funnier.
She sat down on the sofa across from them, and Pumpkin immediately started squirming to get down from Old Mr. Hart’s lap to run to her.
Old Mr. Hart grumbled in annoyance, “You ungrateful little thing. Have you already forgotten who fed you and played with you these past few days? Now that back, you’re ditching me, huh?”
