Bruce might not be the youngest of the bunch, but he sure is the most emotional.
When he first found out Nathaniel Hart was in trouble, Bruce Collier almost fainted from crying so hard, and he kept shouting about wanting to go after the guy who messed with Nathaniel.
If nobody had stopped him, he might have ended up not catching the bad guy and getting himself in trouble instead.
Now, seeing Nathaniel safe and sound right in front of him, Bruce just couldn’t stop the
tears.
The more Nathaniel told him to stop, the harder Bruce cried.
Sofia Schneider was kinda shocked, just staring at Bruce as he cried his eyes out, her mind. wandering off.

Finally, Nathaniel lost his patience and snapped, “Cut it out, Bruce, you’re freaking out my wife.”
Bruce was sobbing so hard that when he heard this, he almost choked, his sobs getting
stuck in his chest.
That’s when he noticed Sofia.
He rubbed his eyes, trying to pull himself together.
“Nathaniel, what did you just say? Who is she? Bruce pointed at Sofia, still shocked by what he’d heard.
“My wife, Sofia Schneider,” Nathaniel said, putting his arm around Sofia and introducing her, “Sofia, this is Bruce Collier. He’s a bit slow.”
“Nathaniel, screw you! You’re the slow one!” Bruce lost it right then, giving Nathaniel a piece of his mind.
Then, thinking he should make a good impression on Sofia, he quickly added, “Hi, I’m Bruce. I’m older than him, so I’m a bit more mature. I’m usually not like this.”

Nathaniel shot him a look, then told Sofia, “Don’t mind him. We’re the same age.”
“Hey, that’s not cool, Nathaniel. I’m three days older than you,” Bruce protested, ready to take on Nathaniel.
Nathaniel bluntly said, “Nope, you’re younger.
Bruce really couldn’t stand being called younger, getting all worked up. “That’s a lie! I’m definitely three days older, show your ID and prove it!”
Nathaniel explained to Sofia, “He was born three days after me, but to appear more mature than me, he insisted his parents change his ID to make him three days older.”
After that, Nathaniel couldn’t help but add, “I’ve never met anyone so shameless.”
Sofía nodded; indeed, this was her first time meeting someone like that.
It was pretty strange.
Bruce wanted to set things straight with Nathaniel, so he wouldn’t ruin his reputation.
But seeing Sofia nod, he realized something.
Whatever he said now wouldn’t matter.
The two were clearly teamed up against him!
Bruce was so annoyed, unable to beat Nathaniel, he turned to Sofia and asked, “You having trouble seeing?”
Sofia instantly frowned, Wasn’t he implying that she was blind for choosing Nathaniel?
She wondered how Nathaniel and Bruce even became friends.
Bruce seemed like a bad influence.
Nathaniel, fed up with Bruce, took Sofia and was ready to head out.
They wondered if that dog, Eric Wilson, had been rescued.

EXTRA 2
Nathaniel could tell Sofia really liked the dog, and if it really died because of him, he’d feel guilty.
The trio went back to the living room, just in time to see Eric coming out of the surgery room with a Samoyed in his arms
The dog’s leg was all bandaged up, whimpering continuously.
Nathaniel finally relaxed. He tried to take the Samoyed from Eric, but Eric slapped his hand away.
“Don’t touch it,” Eric warned.
He really had no sympathy when it came to animals.
Bruce glanced between Nathaniel and Eric, then asked, “Whose dog is this?”
“Mine.”
“Mine.”
They both said at once, then stared at each other..
Eric glared at Nathaniel like he was some sort of enemy.
Nathaniel almost lost his cool because of his attitude.
“Eric, it’s my wife’s dog, be reasonable,” he said.
Sofia blinked innocently, not sure if she should fully embrace this role yet.
She did want to take the dog home, but hadn’t discussed it with Nathaniel or knew if he would agree, or if the elder Mr. Hart would.
But even if Hart’s old place couldn’t keep the dog, no worries, she could find another place
for it.
It would be sad not to see it every day, though.
Eric, holding the Samoyed tightly, clearly didn’t want to let go.
But he wouldn’t fight Sofia for it, mainly because he didn’t want to talk to her.

Nathaniel reassured Sofia, “Don’t worry, if he’s bringing it out, it means it’s healed. Just take it home and take care of it.”
Sofia then looked at Nathaniel and asked, “So, I can keep it, right?”
“Absolutely,” Nathaniel smiled, patting Sofia on the head, “Whatever you want to do at home, whatever you want to keep, go for it. No need to hold back.”
Sofia beamed and walked over to Eric, ignoring his resistance, reached out, and took the puppy.
Maybe because she had given it warmth when it was hurt, the puppy didn’t resist her and even snuggled into her hand, accepting her as its owner.
Sofia looked at the Samoyed with such tenderness.
Eric watched her, finally keeping quiet.
He just stared at the puppy for a long while before silently walking into a room.
Shortly after, Eric rolled out a large box towards Sofia, saying, “This is for you.”
Sofia looked at him puzzled, not understanding what it was.
Eric avoided her gaze, adding, “It’s for the dog.
