The day I left for another trip abroad, I saw a familiar figure in the crowd.
I immediately recognized that it was Bernard. He stood far away, gazing at me with eyes full of reluctance.
But I didn’t turn back. I walked straight to the boarding gate.

I heard that Kate, angry about being forced to abort her child, kept slandering Bernard in her live streams. This caused the company’s sales to drop drastically.
But he didn’t care. He drank every day and as a result, many of the company’s senior employees left.
In the end, the company had to go through bankruptcy liquidation.
Bernard blamed Kate for all of it and, in a drunken rage, beat her into
unconsciousness.
But Kate wasn’t easy to deal with. She sued him in return and submitted evidence of the company’s tax evasion to the prosecution.
With multiple charges, Bernard was sentenced to ten years in prison.
As I watched the sunrise in the distance, my heart felt light and free.
