She placed the contract on Sarah’s desk and said, “Ms. Young, I have completed the task you assigned. The five–year legal advisory contract has been signed, and the 15 thousand dollar fee has been transferred to the firm’s account
“Additionally, I’ve secured three payment dispute cases and one patent infringement case. All four cases are under general agency agreements, with the attorney fees paid upfront. Including the 15 thousand dollar legal advisory fee, the total comes up to 8p thousand dollars.
“If you don’t believe me, you can ask the finance department for the transaction records. I also have the payment receipts right here.”

The next day, Tessa drove to court for a hearing
